In March 2025, I was browsing YouTube and stumbled upon a video by Antonio Centeno (Real Men Real Style). He was talking about fragrances, and one specifically stood out: Creed Aventus. I did some quick research and was intrigued by the so-called scent that "George Clooney wears"—but let’s be real, $500 for "smelling water" isn't exactly an easy pill to swallow! In that same video, Antonio mentioned a brand called Dua that created affordable inspirations of those high-end scents. I decided to take the leap and ordered Poseidon's Elixir 11Z. When it arrived... WOW. 🤯 I was hooked. That one bottle started a chain reaction: - 2 weeks later: I grabbed 3 more (Absolu Aventus, Aventus Cologne, and Millesime Imperial versions). - By August, I added Layton and Oud Wood. - A week after that, I bought 10 more. - Today: I proudly own 100 Duas. But it’s more than just the bottles. 2025 has been a year of true discovery. This hobby made me happy and sparked a real love for the art. I’ve started learning about scents and accords, smelling essential oils to understand notes, and diving deep into the world of decants and samples. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Antonio Centeno for that life-changing video. It introduced me to Aventus, to Dua, and most importantly, to this incredible community. Today, I put on Glorious Oud Royal Blanc and Azzaro Most Wanted. I LOVE all musks and am in the experimental stage. I'm not sure if my nose is advanced enough to detect the difference but I love it!
