Read this if you feel behind.
Quick truth: There is no "behind" in this challenge. That's a story your brain made up the moment you missed a day. And I get it. We are world-class at turning one missed session into a full-blown identity crisis. "I always do this." "I never finish anything." "Why did I even sign up." Stop and breathe for a minute.. Read the next line slowly: The challenge is not a train you missed. It's a room you can walk into whenever you're ready. Everything is still in the classroom. And the funny things is: Almost everyone misses a day. But what about the people with those big transformations? They're the ones who fell off as well. Felt the shame. And came back anyway. That is the rep that matters. That's the one that rewires you. Because every time you've quit something in the past, you taught your nervous system one thing: "We don't finish things." Today you get to teach it the opposite. Open the classroom. Press play on the next session. That's it. That's the whole task. Your transformation report is waiting on the other side of the questions. You're not behind. You're exactly where the comeback starts. 💛 Jim

If You Are New Here…
I have been in the program since March; I did the five day workshop and then the 6 week program. If you are patient, watch the classes, do the worksheets, and don’t let the technical issues get you down, you WILL find help through this program. You will get insights into who you are and how your brain works that will blow your mind. I’ve spent decades (I’m 66) looking for the answers Jim’s program has helped me discover. I’ve worked with life coaches, counselors, therapists, neurologists, brain injury specialist, etc. NONE of them were able to help me in the ways this program has. I am different in several positive ways because I’m making the necessary changes and following these protocols.
The "Problem" is the Gift
Woohoo! I just completed all 5 sections of the ADHD Awakening Assessment. Biggest realization (even though on some levels I knew it, appreciate it, and love it): My "variety" isn't scattered - it's an integrative gift. Bodywork, music, teaching, writing - they're all one current running through me. And the thing I thought was ADHD avoidance of a "target audience" in my massage & bodywork practice? It's actually pointing to something bigger I've been afraid to claim. So I feel extra excited to see the BIG report. We’ll see if I can make good on my thought to save it for Saturday, because it’s past my new bedtime already
THANK YOU!!
I am SO grateful to have attended the ZOOM just now and getting to share! NOT because it is about me but because I wanted to share hope and things I'm doing in the hopes it might help someone else! I am just SO grateful to be here! What I'm doing DIFFERENT tonight: tv will still be OFF by 9 (and I have it written in my journal and have a daily verbal reminder set on my "echo". But instead of "dropping off" after that, which led to more bedtime revenge procrastination, I'm going to use the 9 pm turn off tv as a CUE to turn ON a podcast. And listen to the podcast (WITH a timer set, etc) as I finish up "closing down" the downstairs, and go upstairs and brush and floss and moisturize. After the podcast is over, THEN I will plug in phone on nightstand and turn on a meditation. No earbuds allowed. This is what I will try tonight. Because I KNOW I want and need quality sleep. At least possibly. And I didn't realize before that although I was doing good at turning off tv at 9, it then felt like a drop off a cliff for me. And right now, I have too many things I HAVE to deal with every day "with grace" that I didn't WANT to bully myself even more by saying and NOW you get NO stimulation after 9 pm.. so I'm creating a bridge. I'm sharing all this because when you're in a world NOT built for you, you can feel like nothing is in YOUR favor. And you either rebel and hurt yourself further, or you concede. And I don't want to do either. I have been through too damn much to give up. So anyway what I want people to take from this the most is that yes, a LOT of stuff we CANNOT control. It ISN'T made for us. SOOO! Let's HONOR that, and see what we CAN customize to potentially help ourselves! Also, I genuinely LIKE brainstorming and being creative so if anyone wants help thinking of things, I'm happy to help! I just really wanted to share because the LAST thing I want people to believe is, oh she has more "fill in the blank" than I do. Therefore, I'm a lost cause. Because I will watch things and a LOT of times, people DO have partners or an animal or SOMETHING external (and they don't even recognize it because they dont' HAVE to), that keeps them on track. And I'm genuinely happy for them!!
