AM check in, but late. Feeling somewhat frustrated
📅 Daily Check-in - July 16, 2026 💭 Reflection: "Missed check in last night, I think? And didn't have time this morning before I went to get my haircut (it was way overdue). I went to sleep by midnight last night and did not pick up my phone and no scrolling whenever I got up to use the bathroom or take the dog out. After I got home from my haircut, I am feeling a bit frustrated getting back to my contracting work. I will be happy when that is all finished. I also need to move on to getting my certifications done which is another big job. I still haven't heard from my son about seeing the grandkids. Operating Manual
Just did the first part of my Operating Manual and realized the piano bench I quit as a kid was never about capability - I could play the music, it just bored me. The real trap I spotted is my evenings: the TV goes on, I scroll because I "can't seem to do anything else," and my environment was making that choice for me the whole time. Tonight I'm putting a book on my seat before my husband turns it on.
