I was diagnosed at 61. Going through menopause was horrible and afterwards, like others in this thread, I thought I was getting dementia. I, too, was happy that it isn't dementia - at this point, anyway. LOL That it was ADHD. Once finding this out, it made my whole life make sense. I can't tell you how many housekeeping, cleaning, decluttering, organizing, etc. classes I have tried over the years. Tardiness has always been an issue from the time I was a kid. No matter how much I wanted to be early or on time, I would have issues doing so. I encourage everyone in this thread to jump in here and share. For the women going through menopause or through menopause, yes, that often exposes your ADHD as we had been able to mask really well prior to menopause. You will find hope, inspiration, and learning here. It is definitely a process, but you will likely be happy you found this program and community. Welcome to all of you!
