🌸 Monday = My Day 🌸
I'm claiming something new, and I want to share it with you. From now on, Mondays are MY days. 🙌 Not the day I catch up on everyone else's needs. Not the day I disappear under the laundry, the to-do list, the endless caretaking. My day. Here's what that means 👇 ✨ I consciously build in the things that matter to me. ✨ I gently push back the things others ask of me. ✨ I put myself at the very top of my own to-do list, so I stop falling through the cracks. 🕳️➡️🌟 Because here's what I've learned: if I don't choose myself on purpose, there's only ever a scrap of time left. And I refuse to live like that. 💛 So this Monday, at least a few things that are important to ME are going to happen. On purpose. No permission needed. Who's with me? I unpacked the whole bag!
Friday night I got back from two weeks of vacation, attending photography classes. Saturday morning I unpacked the whole bag. Not like my last trip to India when I wanted to clean every little item thoroughly, but that still took me months. The solution was to keep going without sitting down 😊
