How I maximize LinkedIn in just 15min/day and you can too...
Hey "Synthfam"! (hope this term sticks and I start a trend haha) Outside of this amazing community I operate a slack community called Pivotal Founders. This is a community of "founder - operators" AKA synthesizers, agency owners, solopreneurs, coaches, evangelists and strategists. We focus on using no-code tools and AI technology to build products and services that help aspiring our respective clients accomplish their goals (b2b + b2c + d2c). Why do I bring this up? Well there is strategies that I share in the group that I personally use that I think are super relevant for this group. So, I'd like to share a LinkedIn guide that I recently put together! Below is the link to how I maximize my LinkedIn in 15 mins a day. This got me to: - over 20K personal followers and over 40K company followers - over 50 clients in 2022 (in combination with BD, outreach, follow-ups, emails, etc) - become more of an authority in my niche [recruiting for tech startups + scale-ups] - expanded into my secondary niche [founder revenue systemization and support]. http://t.ly/pf-linkedin-guide Feel free to check it out and hope it helps you on your synthesizer journey! If this is helpful, simply LIKE this post. That will let me know to share more of my strategies as I document what is working for me (Hormozi play). Synth on, Paul Masters

good stuff brother , do you mind if i pm you ?
I put in 10,000 hours into a video game... here are 3 things I learned.
There are A LOT of similarities between video games and this Great Online Game. Here are 3 insights that I picked up from spending 10,000 hours climbing the ranks of Runescape. For context: I was obsessed with Runescape from from ages 10 to 18. I played at least 2-4 hours/day - ideally (a lot) more. I climbed the leaderboard and eventually became rank 4 in the world for a skill known as "Firemaking." under the username: Trev_Frank Attached are a couple videos showing me firemaking (some 'fans' screen recorded me) to show how repetitive this process was - and how obsessed I was. Here are 3 lessons I learned which I'm now applying to the great online game of entrepreneurship. 1) You gotta do WHAT you love - and what you love is typically what you're good at. I loved fire making. I lit fires all day. & I thought I was the GOAT from day 1. Now, I love synthesizing. I love simplifying concepts and sharing them and I think I'm pretty good at it, too. 2) You gotta do it HOW you love. My process for firemaking was very simple. Here was my process for becoming rank 4 (edit: actually rank 3 - see in the comments) in the world which I followed for YEARS: - Run to the bank teller to withdrawal logs - Run to the far end of the screen - Light the logs - Run back to the bank teller - Repeat this same process for HOURS (you can see this in the video attached) Now, for synthesizing, my process looks like this: - Study successful people in my niche - Write out an insight - Record insight on video - Send viewers to a freebie (pdf or mini course) containing more insights - Study successful people in my paid program When you love the process, there's no procrastination, because you genuinely deep down enjoy doing it. (I love writing posts like this for example, so much so, so even if this all gets deleted, I won't care because I love writing it more than I love publishing it.) When it comes to dialling in your process, everyone has their own flow and ideal way of doing things.

How I became Andrew Kirby's video editor and started a business
okay, so after a long break from synthesizer skool I'm back, the group became a little bit too big, which is why I haven't posted lately. So I publicly document my journey of becoming financially free, and I feel like lately, I hit another milestone, I realized, that I should monetize the skills I already have, and because I have 8 yrs of experience in video editing, I just decided to start freelancing, and because I built out a few connections here on skool on November 2022 I got a message from @Wiktor Romanowicz about working for a Synthesizer University client, I was happy to get the job because in the last half year, I haven't made any money and it caused me a lot of stress. I finally started to make some good money, and after working for the SU client for a month and because they loved my edit, I got an opportunity to edit for Andrew Kirby, honestly, I was the happiest person on earth when I heard this because this was a dream becoming a reality in real time, it felt unreal... (2.5 months later) but life has ups and downs and I got another challenge from the universe to test my character: I was just about to prepare the last stuff so I can travel to Bali and meet with Andrew when the unexpected happened, I got a message to get on a call because Andrew and Wiktor wants to talk with me, I already knew what this meant and I stressed so much, that it probably even caused my fever that lasted a week, finally, I got on a call and Wiktor informed me, that the direction of the company is changing, and I will no longer work here full time, I was so sick at that time, that I even had a hard time talking, and I just got scammed for 500usd that day, you can imagine how I felt at that moment, from the top completely rock bottom under few days. But I was listening to a lot of stoicism videos to get me thru this time and I asked myself the question: How can this be the best thing that happened to me?

One strategy for audience growth and monetisation
A realisation I had this evening: In any market there is a segment of people that are serious about achieving a transformation. As a result, they consume the content from the person that they believe will most effectively help them achieve the transformation they desire. They don't care about camera quality, titles, thumbnails, storytelling etc. They just care about value of content. Which is why ā€œcreating the most valuable content for NICHE to achieve TRANSFORMATIONā€ is an effective strategy for developing an audience. Plus that segment are the ones most likely to pay you for helping them.

A Message To Consultants: Things are Changing
This is a message for Consultants. Specifically someone who sells coaching or a course to help people solve their problems. In 2022 I: - Spent two days in LA with Sam Ovens (on track to become billionaire) - Spoke with Alex Hormozi ($200m/year portfolio) - Spoke (and worked) with MrBeast (130m subscribers) - Spoke with Cole Gordon ($2,000,000/month) - Met Bas Slot in Lisbon twice ($1,000,000/month) My conclusion after all of this was simple: This industry is changingā€¦ The smartest people have noticed, and are already taking advantage of this shift. Everyone else will be left behind. Watch these clips (5-10 mins) to spot the shift. - Clip from Sam Ovens - Tweet from Alex Hormozi - Another tweet from Alex Hormozi - Clip from Cole Gordon (making $2m/m+) - Clip from All In Podcast (all four are Billionaires) - Clip from Alex Hormozi Watch those clips before reading on. They're short. Here's how I see things changing: - Direct Response ā†’ Brand - Ads ā†’ Content - Selling ā†’ Giving And to me, this is a GREAT SHIFT. Thank fuck this industry is FINALLY maturing. It's no longer enough to have flashy marketing and great sales skills. You have to build a brand. Over the past few months Iā€™ve hinted at this shift quite a few times, and how I've used it to make $100,000/month profit (and sometimes even $90,000 in a day). I've made a: - 33 minute Loom video explaining this new model - 21 minute Loom video explaining how I got 600,000 subscribers using this model - Free course explaining how to build a great community - Loom video I sent to Alex Hormozi about using trends to grow an audience when he asked me to help him grow his YouTube - Notion page explaining the lessons I learned about YouTube growth from speaking with MrBeast - Google Doc explaining the content system that grows your audience in just two hours per week
