The Billion Dollar Mastermind (lessons on money, motivation, and audience growth)
As mentioned, I spent 1-day with a group of guys whose combined net-worth exceeds a billi. I'm making 7 threads in 7 days sharing what I learned. --- Day 1: Audience growth (unfortunately I had to delete this) Day 2: Increasing motivation Day 3: Making money Day 4: Offer Creation (just released) --- For those who don't like reading on Twitter, once finished I'll post to Skool. Including the audience growth stuff. Shh.

@Maximilian Walch could you send me the thread on audience growth as well?
I love the game of YouTube
Almost a year ago, I joined synthesizer school. In this community, I’ve had loads of ups and downs where I just was on and off on YouTube being inconsistent with what I said “my purpose” was. Then around 2 months ago, I made a decision. I realized that I needed to stay extremely consistent on one thing for an extreme amount of time if I was going to win. And I learned that after trying 13-16 different business ideas. From selling print on demand to relationship coaching, to now, YouTube with a offer of a course and personal training. And just as the author of the 12 week year “majority of our problems come from not having consistency.” Or something like that, I didn’t read the book I just heard that from Ali Abdaal. At any rate, when I made the decision 2 months that I would stick to YouTube no matter what, that’s when things started changing for me. The content on YouTube I consumed, how I treat my time, the books I read, what I did to re-charge, all of it, was used to direct towards one thing: YouTube. And I’ve been loving it. Yes I’ve had my ups and downs, I won‘t bullshit anyone. If you’re going to do something for a very long time, you won’t be able to stay sharp 100% of the time. But nonetheless, I still come back to YouTube. And after some thinking I realized why I’ve stuck with YouTube now more than ever than anything I’ve ever done. Ever since I was a child, I’m sure a lot of other kids were like this, but I loved watching YouTube. Sometimes to the point where I was extremely obsessed over it. But there was this one YouTuber I used to watch as a kid called “DanTDM.” I’m sure someone here probably knows him. And I remember watching him and saying to myself “I want to be like this guy. I want to be a YouTuber.” And that thought has always stuck with me. I’ve always wanted to be a YouTuber when I was a kid. That literally means, the more I do YouTube, the more I’m working towards my childhood dream. And most people who end up able to follow their childhood dream, are 1. More happy in the long run. And 2.(imo) much more fulfilled.

Keep going strong! We’re all in this together
I'm trying to be a YouTube's assistant, how should I go about it?
Hey everyone, right now I'm looking for some work to do in my spare time, while also being able to learn as much as possible from the job since I'm in a season of learning and not earning. I'm trying to brainstorm ways I can become a YouTubers assisstant, ranging from 5k-100k subscribers just to make their job easier and take tasks they don't want to do off their shoulders. I ideally want to work with someone in the fitness niche on YouTube because that's my niche and I would like to see the behind the scenes stuff that they do. But at any rate, do you guys have any ideas? Should I just search up "fitness youtuber's" in the search bar and DM each one I find? Any advice would really help.

@Gabriel Vertrees when I was super busy on my 800k sub channel, i had a VA that would check all my emails and all my messages on social platforms and comments and tell me if anything stood out or if I had to personally respond to any of them. I also outsourced all short form editing to either my video editors or people on Fiverr. They’re such good ways to save time. Also, doing YouTube research or keeping tabs in the niche is a good way to provide value too.

@Gabriel Vertrees i opened most emails, and I find that most people do. It’s what they read after that matters most. If I reads like a robot it was an automatic delete. If it looked like a template, auto delete. I read the ones that were value first, sounded human, they were authentically interested and consumed my content, and had a clear offer that wasn’t vague or ambiguous. If I had to think about a job for them, I would delete the email.
Become A Disciplined Machine In 3 Steps (EASY GUIDE)
Let me guess… …you start something new self improvement related like a workout plan, diet, meditation, yoga, cold showers, journalling etc. You stick to it for maybe a week or two but then it slowly drops off and before you know it you’re just back to square one! The problem is your discipline- or more accurately, your LACK of discipline. I know this because I have been there MYSELF! The thing that got me out of this vicious cycle and enabled me to become like a machine with my discipline was to follow these THREE steps below: —————————- 1))) GET CLEAR ON THE ‘WHY’. If you’re on a self improvement journey and trying to better yourself, there’s obviously a REASON why you want to change. You need to become crystal clear on this so that this is always present in the back of your mind. The reason for this is so that when times get tough and you really DON’T want to do something (a new habit for example), you can remember your ‘why’ and your pain points and this will spur you on to keep going. To find your ‘why’ and pain points, try this exercise using the picture attached. Write down some things that you do that you wish you didn’t. For example, ‘skipping my workout’, ‘eating junk food’ and ‘never finishing anything’. Then, for each one write the Immediate, Knock-on and Hidden effects of continually doing this. For example, skipping a workout my result in you feeling ashamed and down immediately. But then the knock on effect could be that you never gain muscle or are happy with your body. Lastly, the hidden long term effect could be that you never get a girlfriend, become sad all the time and regret your actions years before. Seems harsh right? Well in order for you to become disciplined you may need to get as harsh as possible with this exercise! The more harsh you are, the more you can see what will happen years down the line if you don’t become disciplined NOW! Try this exercise now. —————————- 2))) BECOME A MASTER OF THE MORNINGS. At the end of the day, you are most likely to have a lapse in discipline of there is an absence of these two things:

Love it! These are spot on. I actually find that nailing what time I go to sleep is more effective than what I do in the morning, especially now that I have a six month old baby. My mornings are chaos, but I’m able to stay disciplined by establishing a daily focused time block.
Tips for effective time management
Hey everyone! I wanted to share some tips for effective time management that have really helped me stay organized and focused. I hope you find them useful, and I'd love to hear your thoughts or any additional tips you might have. 1.Prioritize Your Tasks: Start each day by identifying the most important tasks you need to accomplish. Use a system like Eisenhower's Matrix to determine which tasks are urgent and important. 2. Use Time Blocking: Allocate specific blocks of time for different tasks throughout the day. This can help you stay focused and avoid multitasking. 3. Take Regular Breaks: The Pomodoro Technique is a popular method where you work for 25 minutes and then take a 5-minute break. It helps maintain focus and prevent burnout. 4. Set Daily Goals: Having a clear goal for the day keeps you on track and provides a sense of accomplishment when you complete it. 5. Limit Distractions: Turn off notifications on your phone, use apps that block distracting websites, and create a workspace that promotes focus.

These are all awesome! I’d like to add that planning the next days most important task before stopping work the current day has saved me so much. I don’t procrastinate first thing, and just jump into the task right away. No planning and no thinking in what to do.
