I havent even gotten to the real modules, just ETS session 5, but i could already feel today brand new access to my hamstrings. I was also able to identify that the first obsticle for me is my back, 100%. Without doing the back twists i cant even bring elbows to the ground instraddle, but after, I can.
Realistically , for most high kicks its the hamstring that needs to be accessed not so much abductors, if you look at the feet positioning and hip rotation, its primarily front split position. So the hamstring focus makes sense.
I took a video of the 3 kicks at the highest level i can doyesterday - front kick, side kick and roundhouse kick, so that i can compare it in a month or two. Looking forward to finishing these introductory modules and working on the fighters module.
