Dismissive Avoidants
Greetings Everyone, I am curious to know if anyone has worked with any dismissive avoidants and whether breathwork sessions helped them overcome their avoidant tendencies.
Insights
Glad to feel more confident and feeling more positive emotions and associations coming out. Going through this experiment has lead me to clearing a backlog of things, that of course I can return to processing, but value the deeper feeling of clarity and just in general clearness I have been having. Recently processing some emotions surrounding close relationships. Definitely noticed the breathwork helps during my menstrual cycle changes. And with sickness. 2/3rds of the way to my goal of daily breathwork and writing insights here for 90 days! Proud of myself, especially after being sick this past week. Really throws a wrench into routine and in how I show up to my practice. Making modifications is sometimes necessary and encouraged. And! at this point, it doesn’t just feel like routine, it is continually a point of positivity to return to! 🎉 Days 60-62
