[WATCH THIS] How to Utilize Our Community
Welcome to Rooted Alchemy! Whether you’re brand new or already beginning your practice, I’d like to walk you through how to make the most of everything inside the Rooted Alchemy community. Please watch this video, as it’s essential for getting the most benefit out of everything we offer here. In this video, I’ll explain how to navigate the platform with ease — from the homepage and discussion tabs to the Classroom, live sessions, calendar, and messaging features. I’ll show you: - Where to begin (especially with the 7-Day Challenge) - Where to practice - Where to join the live sessions - Where to ask questions - How to message someone in the community (especially if you have technical issues) Please take your time exploring. The more familiar you become with the space, the more naturally it will support your Tai Chi and Qigong journey. 💬 Messenger - If you need help If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to post them in our Q&A tab or simply send a direct message to the support team, @Jayda Jeon or @Joshua Harris
(Please Read) Live Session Classroom Update
Hi everyone! One of our core missions is to provide an online practice space where you can learn Tai Chi and Qigong in an efficient and effective way. We’re always looking for ways to optimize your experience and make your practice more organized and intentional. With that in mind, we’ve restructured the Weekly Live Session Classroom. Old Format 👉 Live sessions were organized by month only. (Hard to navigate which classes included which practices, and it could feel overwhelming) NEW Format 👉 You will still see this month’s live sessions (and the previous month’s) listed as usual. 👉 After two months, all live sessions will be reorganized into CATEGORIZED practice series. What this means... for example, - If a weekly Qigong session focuses on Elemental Qigong, it will be placed inside the "Elemental Qigong" folder. - If a Qi & Flow session focuses on Tai Chi fundamentals, it will be placed inside the "Tai Chi Fundamentals" folder. Simple as that! No more guessing which class includes what practice! This way, you’ll be able to find exactly what you’re looking for—faster and more easily—without scrolling through months of recordings. Each session will also include a brief summary, so you can quickly understand what was covered and take notes more effectively. We hope this makes your study clearer, more structured, and easier to revisit over time. And as always, if you have any feedback—now or in the future—please feel free to share it. Your voice truly matters to us, and we deeply appreciate your input. Happy practicing, Rooted Alchemy fam!🌱

New: "Posture Lab" Live Session This Sunday (Mar 8)
We recently introduced our Posture Lab, and we’d also like you to take more advantage of it through our live stream sessions as well. 👉 After our regular Sunday class, we’ll take a 15-minute break, and then gather again for a 30-minute Posture Lab session from 10:15–10:45 AM (PST). During this time, Sonny will offer direct and intentional guidance on your Tai Chi and Qigong forms and postures. If you’d like support with a specific movement, form, or alignment, this is a perfect opportunity to receive live feedback to help refine your practice and deepen your understanding. This is designed to help you maximize your online learning🌱 Moving forward, this will become a regular monthly session — Typically held on the first or second Sunday of the month after class. (Please check the monthly calendar in advance to confirm) We hope to see you this Sunday! ✔️ If you’d like to participate after the class, simply stay in the room. No need to exit and come back. ✔️ To participate, you just need to come to the community around the scheduled time, and you’ll see the “Join” button appear to enter the session.

March Live Sessions Schedule
Spring is around the corner! 🌸 In traditional Chinese culture, March carries the energy of spring (春, Chūn) — a time of renewal, awakening, and gentle expansion. In the Five Element (五行, Wǔ Xíng) system, spring corresponds to Wood (木, Mù) — growth, flexibility, and new beginnings. This is the season where what was rooted in winter begins to rise. Just as trees stretch upward and buds begin to open, our practice can shift from quiet cultivation into smooth, steady expression. 🗓 March Live Schedule: 🌿 Every Tuesday & Thursday • Weekly Qi (Qigong) — 8:00 AM • Qi & Flow (Tai Chi) — 8:30 AM 🌿 Every Sunday (except 2/15) • Weekly Qi (Qigong) — 9:00 AM • Qi & Flow (Tai Chi) — 9:30 AM ⚠️ We will also be hosting another Qi Talk this month — an open conversation space for deeper questions and integration. We’ll announce the date once it’s set, so stay tuned! ✔️ All times are Pacific Time (PST) ✔️ All sessions are recorded and available in the Community Classroom ✔️ Live links are in the Calendar tab (and posted a day before) Let this month be one of steady growth, soft flexibility, and renewed energy in your practice 🌿

Tai chi sticks are coming!
Rooted Alchemy update 🌿 Our Tai Chi sticks have arrived. Each one is handcrafted, shaped by hand, and carries its own unique character. No two are the same, just like the practice itself. We are excited to offer these to our community first and pair them with a Tai Chi stick course so you can train with intention, structure, and depth. Comment below if you are interested in a Tai Chi stick with the Tai Chi stick course.
