This Stops Being About Clothes
There's a shift that happens for some men. They stop asking "does this look okay?" and start knowing. Not because they memorized rules — but because they've built a standard for themselves. A quiet confidence that doesn't need to announce itself. You see it in how they walk into a room. In how people respond to them before they say a word. In how much mental energy they have left for things that actually matter. That's not style. That's identity. And identity isn't bought — it's built, through consistent habits and deliberate choices made over time. That's what RMRS Premium is designed for. Not trends. Not outfit grids. A structured path to becoming the man who looks sharp because of who he is — not what he's wearing. If that shift sounds like something you want, the door's open: https://www.skool.com/rmrs/plans

Do You Accept the 30-Day Challenge?
Good morning Gentlemen, I spoke on this the other day and today is the day to start the 30-day tie challenge. I know some because of work requirements cannot not wear one at work, totally understandable. But here is the point when you not at work and able to be intentional and wear one, going to the store, or running an errand, even at dinner with the family. Might seem silly but see how you feel and the response you receive. even if you cannot do every day the whole month, again the key is to be intentional when possible. Every time you wear a tie take a picture and post it on here let's flood the post with of gentlemen displaying their ties. For the Month of May, I want to challenge each of you to wear a tie every day for one month. This will include the weekends and see the response you receive. But also, and most importantly is how you feel being intentional wearing a tie every day for a month. We want to hear how you felt wearing a tie every day, how people responded to you wearing a tie, did you receive compliments, did people ask you why? Were you recognized more? One thing as gentlemen is learning to be intentional, and this a is great start. Then the following month maybe move towards wear a sports jacket or blazer for a month and then bringing them together for a month. Who will take this challenge, but also not just say it, but to take a picture every day and post it. This is a perfect time to share with others when they ask you why you are wearing a tie. Who will step up, be bold and accept this challenge?

Discussion: Formality across cultures
We all have a general sense of what “formal” means — but I’ve noticed it’s far more dependent on culture and location than we might think. Living in the Middle East, the contrast with Western standards is quite clear. For example, in many Western countries, a tuxedo is strictly tied to black-tie events. In Egypt, though, we don’t really have that same structure. The tux is mostly reserved for the groom at weddings — and even then, it’s sometimes treated more flexibly depending on the setting (photos vs. the main event, etc.). Another interesting contrast is with Saudi Arabia. There, the traditional thobe is considered formal wear, while a full suit can come across as more foreign or purely professional. In Egypt, it’s almost the opposite — the suit aligns with what we see as formal, while the thobe feels more traditional and not always suitable in certain formal or professional environments. It’s fascinating how something considered proper in one place can feel out of place just a short distance away. Have you noticed similar differences in other cultures or countries?

Rainy and Chilly Friday.
I picked up a new sport coat and a navy long-sleeve polo the other day and figured today’s less-than-cooperative weather gave me a good excuse to put them into rotation. The coat leans into those richer, cooler-season tones, but paired with the clean navy base and lighter trousers, it holds its own just fine outside of fall. To anchor everything, I went with a pair of chocolate suede Allen Edmonds loafers—soft texture, deep tone, and just enough presence to pull the whole look together without shouting for attention. They do exactly what a good shoe should: quiet confidence, solid footing. Finished things off with a couple sprays of Polo 67—fresh, sharp, and quickly climbing the ranks in my rotation. All in all, not a bad way to make a gloomy day look a little more put together.
Rainy and Chilly Friday.
