Linen jacket fit
This is an unlined, unstructured linen jacket for summer travel. Your thoughts on fit, particularly jacket length and button placement? The sleeves are only rolled; I need to shorten them if I’m keeping it. Interestingly, it is a 3-button jacket, which is hard to tell because the top button is under the lapel. I saw a lot of 3-button jackets in London department stores recently so perhaps they are becoming more popular again? Thanks in advance for your advice.

It looks nice. Word of advice, with a three button suit, it is the middle button that should be buttoned.

@Alex Kilpatrick I have to agree. If that is the middle button, it’s too small in the waist. And unfortunately three buttons do reveal that issure more than two buttons
Thursday’s Outfit
I know I haven’t been posting much. Been highly busy with cleaning chores, and even I don’t wear suits to do those, but going out today

It looks nice. If this for dating, I would suggest to do a little more with colors. Maybe grey jeans or a light tan jacket. Women often love to see men take a little more chance with colors. I know I get my most compliments when I am wearing a suit that is different from traditonal navy, grey, or black.
OOTD - Monday 1 June
I was all ready to start work today, then my wife told me it was Reconciliation day, a Public Holiday in the ACT. We live right on the boarder of the ACT and NSW and my office is in the ACT and I live in NSW. To go along with that one daughter goes to High School in the ACT and the other to Primary School in NSW. This just throws me all out whack at times, but hey Atleast I look good doing it. I love the suit, and the elegant lines. If I might make a tiny suggestion, I would recommend a tie that provides a little more contrast. I could see a navy tie working well. Or maybe a burgandy one.
Double Breasted 3 Piece Suit Question
Hello Gentlemen I am planning to get a MTM 3 piece double breasted suit. I know this may seem like an obvious question, but should the vest also be double breasted? I would imagine it would be, but I'm just thinking of the visual and wonder how much of the best you would actually see. Also, has anyone had any experience with suit shop? They have some nice tweed suits, but I'm not sure of the quality. Thanks for your input

no. It will look better if the vest is not double breasted. Otherwise, it risks poking out on top.
