This month it’s officially been a year since I joined rmrs the weekend of my cousins wedding , man time flies. We were at a family reunion this past Sunday and my aunt and uncle mentioned my girl cousin had been married a year now and that week before her wedding is when I joined rmrs. Now I have like 8 or 9 suits and a bunch of accessories, new boots and new dress shoes . Part of soon to be 2 gentleman podcasts!! In a year a lot can happen !! Also my wife has been getting healthier and has lost just over 130 lbs. so proud of her . Her dresses are all going to need to be taken to our personal tailor

So, some of you will get my nerdiness here. I have 32 sextillion outfit combos. But, I have a formula that calculations the percent of unique outfits I have worn since tracking. It was at 87%, meaning 13% of my outfits were duplicates. This seemed as close to impossible as my brain can fathom (and I have a big fat brain when it comes to statistics). Still, I kept asking the AI tool to evaluate the formula for counting duplicates and make sure it was calculating it correctly. It kept saying it was. Tonight I asked it to show me all of the duplicates. This is where I really like Co-pilot. It provides a running conversation of what it is doing and how it gets boggled when things don’t align. It finally figured out what the problem was (some #N/A errors in the outfit details) and corrected it. Zero duplicate outfits in 9 months of daily tracking. I explained to it why I kept having it look and it put out a crazy stat: I would need to live billions of lifetimes before randomly stumbling into a true duplicate outfit.

Last night, my wife and I attended my cousin's wedding in downtown Sioux City at the historic and opulent Warrior Hotel. It was a great kid-free date! Now back to work today. Truckin' and Daddin'

Recently acquired the Charles Tyrwhitt slim linen shirt. This will be my first purchase from this designer. Does anyone have this piece? What are your thoughts if you do. Also the Polo Ralph Lauren linen trousers... I think this will coordinate well together and with the chocolate suede loafers and mesh Derbys...

We attended a good friend’s wedding yesterday at a beautiful venue, and it was a fantastic day spent with family and friends. My son was unofficially recognized as the best-dressed man in attendance 🤣. The best part is that he picked out almost his entire outfit himself with very little input from me. For the wedding, I wore a beige linen suit paired with a light blue check dress shirt, brown penny loafers, a brown belt, and a Seiko dive watch. My son chose a blue-and-white seersucker suit—a Southern classic—along with a white dress shirt, straw fedora with a blue band, brown woven belt, and brown penny loafers. I was proud to see him put together such a classic, age-appropriate outfit and wear it with confidence. Here are a few photos of our family from the wedding.
