I have an event coming up that will require a suit. This is what I have that fits. Not sure what to do about a shirt and tie. I have the following shirts. Royal blue, white, black, pink, charcoal(CT w/ a pattern,not sure about the pattern with the stripes, pic attached), dark green(dont want to wear that). I have also attached a picture with my ties. I didn't realize all of mine had some sort of pattern. I may need a new tie if that's what y'all recommend.

What do we think? Am I missing anything? Anything superfluous already included? (I have shirts in pastel and deep shades of the solid colours; the idea is to have a modular set to just mix and match. ) Definitely considering replacing the skinny yellow for a regular yellow. Works relatively well with a navy shirt; but honestly I’m not sure how often I’d wear it. What’s about paisleys? I like the look of them but I’m not convinced they work all that well for what I need.

How’s the fit on this shirt for an untucked button down? Should I stick with the slim cut or go to a more classic fit?

At this time of year, my pride wells up for my Dodgers. I have been a fan since my father introduced me to baseball at about four years old. Taking me to game where everyone brought a portable radio so they could listen to Vin Skully call the games - the best sportscaster in any sport ever - was something I did not know other teams did not do. The other thing you do at every Dodgers’s game: wear a jersey. When you go to a game, about 90-95% of the 53,000 sold out attendance (they always have the record for total attendance each year and number of sold out games) are wearing a jersey. I really feel like I am showing my appreciation for whichever player I am choosing to represent on my torso that night, and I am proud to do so. As I have emerged myself in a more sartorial lifestyle, wearing graphic Ts and big logo shirts - never a substantial part of my wardrobe anyhow - was eliminated. I found it difficult to find a time to wear my Dodgers jerseys as well, unless at the game. So here is my question. How do other diehard fans find a way to show their love but in an outfit you feel comfortable wearing? I am already done with shorts and jeans are nearly out of my comfort zone. That makes it even harder to wear a jersey. The outfit is one question, but another is when do you eat such sportswear? I am always comfortable saying I can wear whatever I like whenever I like. That is not my question. It’s how and when do I wear the jerseys in a way that my sartorial self will also find appealing (not just acceptable)? Thanks, sports fans! Go Dodgers!
