OOTD - Wednesday 22 July
After walking my youngest to school this morning I decided I would get some photos across the road from my house. I have looked at them quite a bit and though they would make a nice backdrop or filler for some sartorial photos. There is quiet a bit of art work around out little suburb of Googong in NSW, Australia 🇦🇺 A lot of it is metal and part of the aesthetic, I will try to get more of them in the future. Todays outfit consists of; M.J. Bale Pascal Peacoat in a Super 110’s Cloth in Navy Brixton Brood Cap in Washed Navy and Aluminium 8 Panel Design M.J. My regular Tuesday Chiro appointment, and to kick up todays sartorial Splendor I have used one of my new OTAA shirts. I do love the look of a Winchester (Contrast Collar) Shirt. This one in and Azure and White Colourway is so soft and comfortable from the outset I cant wait to see how it feels as I wear it. The French Cuff and Shirt Collar have a gorgeous diagonal textured pattern that adds some terrific visual depth up close. The only thing I would change on it is the lack of removable Collar Stays. I have also added my New OTAA Blue MoP Cufflinks and the new OTAA Crème Brûlée Navy Stripe necktie. I hope you have a terrific evening and wake up to a magnificent Tuesday. Thankyou so very kindly @Brian McGuire, that means a lot. I think it is the Brown Stripes and the Brown pocket Sqaure that helps

Thankyou so kindly @Geoff Saunders, I love the look of a Winchester Shirt. The collar really brings out the rest of the outfit in my opinion

Under these specific conditions, layering UAE and Oligarch is a brilliant power move that will easily match the opulence of local olfactory tastes while maintaining a Western tailored edge. 😎😉

Blowing hot and blowing cold - Duet in heaven
I am sharing the picture of my outing yesterday to a temple in South India. This place is perennially hot AND dry. I think the temperature was 90 F. But, having a cool undertone helps a lot. That's why I chose to go with a dark top piece and beige chinos in two outfits. In one case, I wore an orange Tee and in another a brown polo. I am attaching two pictures one for each combination. The common item in both pictures is the beige trucker jacket. The image in the temple is without shoes (footwear is not allowed inside). What is fascinating is my use of a jacket that was pretty "cool." I managed to make multiple heads turn 😀. Contrary to "common" belief, one can easily layer up in hot weather as long as the fabrics allow you to (and the bonus is having a cool undertone 😎). Here is what I wore: THE TOP: Brown polo (1) and orange t-shirt - both 100% suplma cotton. THE BOTTOM: Beige MTM chinos. THE LAYER: Beige tucker jacket (100% cotton in twill weave). THE BELT: Brown and black reversible. THE SHOES: Tan moccasins in nubuck leather THE WATCH: Tan strap with gold-on-steel frame. Your feedback is most welcome!

So awesome @Jeffrey Plotka. If you get a chance try to take a photo out the front of Huntsman at 11 Saville row. It is the shopfront from the movie The Kingsmen
