Football team recognition
Today, The football team recognized me as the teacher that is a “game changer” in their lives. Got a t-shirt I might actually wear.

Terrific outfit, classic look and you are going to love the breath ability Of woolen trousers. I think you should also invest in a darker brown or black shoe. The tan colour here is very abrasive compared to the rest of the slick look @Allan Chiang 👍👍👍👍
Trying to push my Boundaries a Little 😎
It’s Friday before a long weekend, the weather is beautiful here on Long Island, and I’m not quite ready to give up on summer dressing yet. So today I decided to push my own boundaries a little. I am always inspired by the thoughtful posts from @Brian McGuire and a while back he had done a master class on Pink being such a staple. I always love my pink, but have never tried it is the way I am today. The foundation was easy enough: blue trousers, my lightweight blue-and-white windowpane sport coat, and my Margeaux patina oxfords. Normally, I probably would have reached for a white dress shirt because of the Sport Jacket. I'm not sure why I always gravitate that way. But today I wanted to try something different. Since pink works so well with blue, I thought the shirt might help break up what otherwise could have become a little too monochromatic. The warmer tone also plays nicely with the shoes, and I finished it with a burgundy pocket square and watch dial to pull everything together. Still technically classic. Still very much me. Just a little outside of what I would normally choose. And I think that is part of the fun of learning and pushing your boundaries. You have to try something new! You do not have to reinvent yourself. Sometimes it is simply about becoming comfortable enough with what you know works that you can start experimenting around the edges. Something that makes you stop for a second and ask, “Does this work?” Today felt like the perfect day to try. So now I’m really curious what everyone else thinks. Does it work? or did I miss the mark? All critiques are more than welcome. Did the pink shirt add something to the outfit, or should I have stayed with the classic white? Hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and a great long weekend!!
