My New Sage-Green Linen Suit
Although this Friday was.a casual day at the office. I took advantage of breaking in my new linen suit. This sage-green linen suit strikes that elusive balance between relaxed sophistication and purposeful elegance, proving that summer tailoring need not sacrifice character for comfort. Paired with a cream knit polo and horsebit loafers, it projects the quiet confidence of a gentleman who has long since stopped chasing trends and started curating a legacy. As my linen collection continues to grow, I increasingly appreciate its remarkable versatility—equally at home in a professional office setting as it is at an evening dinner, rooftop gathering, or weekend getaway. Linen has become more than a seasonal fabric; it is a sartorial expression of effortless refinement, adapting seamlessly to nearly every occasion while maintaining an unmistakable sense of style.

I love it. I have been looking at the Alfresco Linen suits at M.J. Bale. They are amazing.

A satisfying end to a week full of long days. Finally got Celtic Cheer out on a maiden 2026 voyage. Keeping the systems running on a 1989 boat can be a continuous challenge , engine starter, fresh water pump AC pump (should arrive tomorrow) makes the boat a fix-it project rather than a sail-it adventure. Fortunately a son of some very good friends who are also clients wanted to impress his girlfriend for her birthday and so I had an excuse to get her out in the lake. Great winds, cloudy evening so it wasn’t hot and we watched the sunset at the marina restaurant. My OOTD was very low key grey shorts/Swimtrunks, grey sperry topsiders, greyish olive checked shirt and my favorite pub J Farleys grey and white cap. Plopped down last night after securing the boat-Whew.

I made a little reel showing the stuff I pack into my Breifcase on the days I go into the office. The video is 1min 45secs but sped up 10x on the instagram reel. As a plus RoF also reposted me reel 🎉🎉🎉 There was still enough room to put more in if needed, oh and I found my walet which had been missing since I last used the bag 🤭 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZOae-NT4qI/?igsh=MXV6cjdqZTl1NnM0cA==
