Most people spend their entire lives trying to fit in. They want acceptance. They want approval. They want everybody around them to tell them they’re doing a good job. So they water themselves down. They hide what makes them different. They copy what everybody else is doing. Then they wonder why they get the same average results everybody else gets. Think about it. How the hell are you supposed to stand out when your entire strategy is fitting in? The people who win big… The people who dominate their industries… The people who stay at the top year after year after year… They aren’t trying to be everybody else. They lean into who they are. They know their strengths. They know what separates them from the crowd. And they double down on it. So ask yourself: What makes you different? What skills do you possess that most people don’t? What perspective do you bring to the table? What gives you an edge? What can you do better than the people around you? If you can’t clearly answer those questions… You still have work to do. Because greatness isn’t built by becoming another copy of somebody else. It’s built by becoming the absolute best version of who you are. Figure out what makes you different. Sharpen it. Develop it. We went out for Chinese on Rriday. We ate soup, pot stickers and Hunan Chicken. My outfit includes brown trousers, white cotton band collar shirt, tan double breasted waist coat, brown linen cab and walnut Chelsea boots. While we did not get a picture, Robin had a floral blouse and lavender slacks.
