Jacket, polo and jeans - Next. (Jacket tailored for arm length.) Belt - Brown leather silver buckle ratchet. Footwear - Brown suede Blake-stitched Chelsea boots from John Lewis. (First outing.) SOTD - Telegrama by Imaginary Authors WOTD - Casio f-91w (still skin testing for nickel allergy before committing to another watch). Have a great day! (Part of my car’s exhaust fell off on my journey to work, so my day has been mixed at best thus far.)

It's a cold day after an incredibly rare thunderstorm all night long. Lots of critical work including client meetings, so the cold with the formality means a newish double-breasted suit. Written by the AI tool, so it’s flowery again… • Shirt — DS‑038 (Savile Row Company): A Savile Row Company pinhole‑collar French‑cuff dress shirt in pristine white twill. Its classic cut, soft hand, and structured pin‑collar architecture create a refined, old‑world professionalism ideal for client‑facing video calls. The crisp twill lends excellent on‑camera clarity. • Undershirt — US‑022 (Sene): A custom MTM Sene Pima‑cotton stretch undershirt in white—exceptional breathability, soft elasticity, and perfect body conformity. Completely invisible beneath today’s formal drape. • Slacks — SL‑017 (Bachrach): Bachrach virgin‑wool double‑pleated slacks in a deep, earthy brown herringbone. Heavyweight drape with a strong business presence. Their rich color and textured weave ground the navy jacket with timeless sophistication. • Suit Jacket — SJ‑008 (Bachrach): A Bachrach double‑breasted herringbone suit jacket in dark brown virgin wool. Rope‑padded shoulders and a full viscose/rayon lining deliver structure and gravitas, while the herringbone texture reads beautifully on video—distinguished without distraction. • Tie — NT‑041 (Fort Belvedere): A Fort Belvedere navy grenadine silk tie—true garza weave, three‑fold, untipped. Matte, textured, and absolutely business formal. Its deep navy tone harmonizes with the white pin‑collar and the rich browns of the tailoring. • Belt — B‑009 (Nordstrom): A Nordstrom dark‑brown leather dress belt with a clean silver buckle. Conservative, understated, and perfectly aligned with the footwear and metallic accents. • Footwear — DSh‑009 (TLB Mallorca): TLB Mallorca’s wholecut Oxford “Goya” in black box‑calf, crafted in Spain on a sleek almond last. A Goodyear‑welted, closed‑channel sole with refined beveling and real leather stiffeners gives it a top‑tier dress pedigree. The uninterrupted wholecut upper creates a strikingly elegant silhouette, while the black box‑calf delivers deep, even shine potential. A refined, high‑confidence choice for business formal settings.

Open-quarters jacket vs. closed-quarters jacket - which do you wear
It seems that there is an entire branch of clothing dedicated to evaluating and classifying how a jacket hangs. Having added a lot of suit & odd jackets in the past year, I understand these and how they impact the outfits appearance. How would you classify your jackets?
