This is one of the cleanest lead signals Iโ€™ve ever used. Every day, my inbox fills up with bad cold emails. Wrong setup. Poor deliverability. No awareness. I donโ€™t delete them because they are my signal. ๐Ÿ‘‡ People who are sending cold emails but landing in spam. I donโ€™t chase random prospects. I donโ€™t pitch people who donโ€™t know they have a problem. I go after people who are already tryingโ€ฆ and failing. So I scrape my spam folder every minute, and then I email them back, with this energy: โ€œHey, your email landed in spam. Hereโ€™s why. And hereโ€™s how to fix it.โ€ Thatโ€™s it. No convincing. No educating them on why cold email matters. They already believe in it; theyโ€™re literally using it. The results? โ€ข ~13.5% reply rate โ€ข ~82% positive replies โ€ข Zero resistance Because these people are pre-qualified: They have the problem. They know they have the problem. Theyโ€™re already spending time and money trying to solve it. All Iโ€™m doing is showing them: โ€œI can fix whatโ€™s broken.โ€ So hereโ€™s the real takeaway: Stop asking, โ€œWho might need what I sell?โ€ Start asking, โ€œWho is already trying to do thisโ€ฆ and messing it up?โ€ That failure is your signal.

How I Structure Cold Emails at Scale (10k/day)
This is the campaign structure I use across almost everything I run, helping me scale to 10k cold emails a day. Letโ€™s start with follow-ups. The data is clear: Most prospects donโ€™t convert on the first email. They need 3-5 touches, spaced over 2-3 weeks. What doesnโ€™t work: โ€ข 2 emails over two weeks โ€ข 8-10 emails fired off in a few days What does keep working, across industries: Email 1 Plain text. No links. No tracking. Emails 2โ€“5 Short follow-ups. One link max. Timing Business hours only. Always in the prospectโ€™s timezone. Thatโ€™s the whole structure. This is the same 3-part setup I reuse again and again. Now, replies. A few rules I never break: โ€ข Don't forward replies to a separate inbox (thatโ€™s an easy way to trash deliverability) โ€ข Use saved snippets to answer fast Speed to lead wins deals. โ€ข Tag interested leads immediately And most importantly: Set all of this up before the campaign starts. Otherwise, it'll get hectic. Take a few minutes and clean this up in your setup. It makes everything downstream easier.
