Hello Community
here's what's new in the ID@Work Community:
- π€ Human Skills for the AI Era
We had such a rich conversation in our Skill Builder on Tuesday, exploring the intersection of AI, the heart, and the mind β sparked by Daniel Pink's A Whole New Mind.
We asked: what do we bring that's irreducibly human?
What came up in our discussion:
π Context and culture β AI generates content, but humans understand why this story, for these people, right now
πΈ Embodied and feminine knowing β Nadene named it: AI was largely built without women at the table. That shapes what gets captured and what gets flattened.
π€ Presence β touch, laughter, tears. We can't prompt for that.
π‘ Forward thinking + emotional connection β imagining futures we haven't lived yet, holding space for what's unspoken

2. π§ͺ Sales Lab Recap: Resistance vs Resonance
When a client pushes back with "prove it works" or "how do we measure this?", they're not saying no. They're saying: I'm not sure this is safe yet.
We explored how to decode those signals β how to hear what's underneath the language of ROI and scalability, and find the entry point that actually resonates. Nadene shared a beautiful metaphor: it's like sowing seeds in soil. You don't force the seed. You read the soil.

Skill Builder next Tuesday: 'What do you do when people don't want to collaborate?'
Next Tuesday's Skill Builder session takes on one of the most common (and quietly exhausting) challenges in inner development work: what happens when the very people who need to collaborate... don't want to.
Open to all members.
