Your Body Is Not the Enemy
Somewhere along the journey, many people start believing that their body is the problem. The stomach becomes the enemy. The thighs become the enemy. The number on the scale becomes the enemy. But your body? Your body has been working for you the entire time. It digests the food you eat. It carries you through long days. It survives stress, exhaustion, sleepless nights, and emotional battles you rarely talk about. And yet we stand in front of the mirror and reduce it to: āNot good enough.ā Body positivity is not pretending you never want to improve. Wanting to become healthier is valid. Wanting to feel lighter, stronger, more confident is valid. But hating your body into change rarely works. Real transformation happens when you shift the mindset from: āI need to punish my body.ā to āI need to support my body.ā Instead of asking: āHow do I make my body smaller?ā Start asking: āHow do I make my body stronger, healthier, and more supported?ā Feed it properly. Let it rest. Move it regularly. Speak about it with respect. Your body is not an obstacle to overcome. It is the vehicle that carries you through life. And the more respect you give it, the better it will respond. Progress doesnāt begin with criticism. It begins with care. Because the goal was never just weight loss. The goal is a body that feels good to live in.
