#SocialSaturday/Sunday
Once in awhile, we do a callout for you to share your social media links outside of Skool so that others can engage with you on other platforms. Today is one of those days! Because this is a hashtag post, please feel free to post this as a bonus post as it will not be counted against your one a day. Don't just post links, though. Let people know the kind of content they can expect when they follow you. For example, I'd like to invite everyone to follow me on LinkedIn where I share tips and insights about high-quality online course creation based on my 25+ years of experience in curriculum and course design.

The CLASSIFIEDS Premium Tier - Everything You Need to Know!
If you are already on the Premium tier and want to know how to make the most of it, or are thinking about upgrading, here is everything you need to know... ⭐️ 🗞️ In the Standard tier, you can post in the community once a day in any category (except for days with a hashtag prompt, then you get an extra post!). There are two kinds of acceptable community posts: "anything" promoting your Skool group, or offers that are free (freebies, free workshops, podcast promotions, your own YouTube channel promotions). You can see the list of categories in the How It Works pinned post. These "rules" are for both standard and premium members. 🌟 🗞️ Now for the additional benefits for Premium members ($3/month or $33/year) 1. Premium members are allowed to put an "ad" in the classroom to advertise anything they want - free or paid. The ad stays up for as long as they are a premium member. Ads rotate weekly. 📰 You can place your ad by creating a draft course in your own community and then copying the course key and sending it to me to copy into the Classifieds. Course keys can be found by going to the thumbnail of the course in your classroom and clicking on the three dots in the top right corner. 2. Premium members also have access to all live events on the calendar. This includes meetups twice a month (called the PERSONALS) and open drop-ins once a month. 📆 The meetups are structured and focus on improving your visibility as well as helping you make connections and foster collaboration. 3. Premium members also have the opportunity to host their own free masterclass for all members on the CLASSIFIEDS calendar. This gives you the chance to provide value to the members and then pitch your group or product at the end. 💵 In order to qualify to host a masterclass, you have to first take my How to Teach a High-Value, High-Converting Masterclass workshop ($27). The next one is being offered on January 6th with doors opening for registration January 2nd. After taking the prerequisite workshop, the first masterclass you offer is of no charge. Subsequent masterclasses that you would like to offer will be subject to a $10 administrative fee.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

How many opportunities have you missed because you didn’t post that video?
You know video helps businesses grow. But every time you hit record something happens. Your mind goes blank. You feel awkward talking to a lens. You watch the playback and immediately want to delete it. So you tell yourself you’ll try again later. Meanwhile your competitors keep showing up. I know that feeling because I lived it. But, I realized I could help far more people online than I could face-to-face. But only if I got comfortable on camera. That realization was one thing that led me to create the Bye-Bye Camera Shy 5-Day Challenge. This challenge helps you build comfort through small doable steps. No pressure. No perfect videos. Just short, supportive sessions that fit into your real schedule. The 5-day easy-peasy challenge starts March 16. Have you heard of…?
The dichotomy of control. It’s one of the simplest ideas in philosophy, yet one of the hardest to practice. The Stoics taught that life becomes clearer when we separate things into two categories: Things within our control • Our judgments • Our actions • Our effort • Our values • Our responses Things outside our control • Other people’s opinions • Other people’s behaviour • Outcomes • Reputation • Luck • The past • The future Most suffering comes from confusing these two. We spend enormous energy trying to control things that were never ours to control in the first place. Recently this has led to a great influx of online rage bate and trauma exploitation. The Stoic practice is to pause and ask: “Is this actually within my control?” If the answer is yes → act with integrity and effort. If the answer is no → release your grip on it. That doesn’t mean apathy. It means clarity. The Stoics believed that peace comes when we invest our energy only where it truly belongs. As Epictetus wrote: “Some things are up to us, and some things are not.” Simple idea. Lifetime practice. In the Wild Wisdom Community we examine the meditations of the great ancient stoics through the lens of nature. If you want discuss the lessons behind being less reactive and self control. If you’re open to nature as a teacher. Please consider joining us. https://www.skool.com/wild-wisdom-2855/about?ref=bea514a2467c4a229b7af93c80030662 Do you know one of the greatest examples of the dichotomy of control is the Great Blue Heron? What’s one thing you’ve learned to let go of because it was never in your control?
