Although I am a rule follower by nature, I also have an extremely hard time staying “inside the box.” For example, I mostly drink water, but on the occasion when I have a soda, I have to mix it up a little. My go-to is a mix of Sprite and Coke. 😂 When I taught college and was given a specific textbook to teach, you can bet that what I liked, I kept...and what I thought could be better, I changed up. And apparently, I do the same thing with the events I create for the Oh Yes I Can Women in Business community. Our summits aren't typical summits. Our workshops and events usually have a little OYIC spin on them. And now I'm planning our first-ever OYIC bundle for this fall. Of course, I can't just do a typical bundle. I'm still firming up all the details, but I'm starting to look for women in business who would be interested in being contributors of resources, tools, trainings, templates, experiences, or other offers that could genuinely help women in business move forward. I'll be sharing the bundle info and application link inside OYIC, which by the way is a free Skool community that is event, visibility, connection, and collaboration driven. I'm working on a big presentation I'm giving next week for potentially several hundred nonprofit leaders, and I'm finding myself feeling burnt out. So, I remembered something a group of us did in a co-working session several years ago. Have you heard of or tired the Pomodoro Method (work for 25 minutes and take a 5 minute break, repeat taking a longer break after 4 cycles)? I started employing it a bit ago and it is helping.
