Your #FeatureStory - Posting Party Day #2 🎉
Today's inspiration is the story behind the group. CREATE A NEW POST (communities) and share your "why." In 100–150 words, tell the story of: - Why you started your Skool group or business - The problem you wanted to solve - Or the people you felt called to bring together Add another GIF that captures the essence of your why. Invite others to comment if it resonates. This is about connection, not polish. Remember: It's not polite (or in your best interest) to post and ghost 👻. After you post, comment on at least 2 other posts! 😉 I'll create a new post for my own community as an example... Oh, and if you are wondering why I am posting at such a weird time of day, it's because of the kids' schedules. I have to either post at noon Bali time or noon EST. It's Tuesday in Bali right now, so I figured, why not?!?!?

Did you leave your "jingle" but forget to "mingle"??? 😂
Thank you to everyone who has already shared their #headline for today's prompt, I promise I will read them all sometime today! One of the important parts of the party is that you interact with others' posts and get to know some of your fellow community members. Imagine you walked into a party and yelled, "Who's ready for a good time????" and then you turned around and walked out! If you posted and ghosted, that is essentially what you've done! Building a business is about building relationships and getting to know people even if it doesn't seem immediately apparent that they might be interested in your community - their sister-in-law might be, their neighbour might be.... And even if it doesn't lead to a lead, it's still a nice way to connect with another community owner. So get back out there, and start commenting! 😉

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS.

#FeatureStory – Why Skool Bio Profits Exists
I didn’t start Skool Bio Profits because Skool is broken. I started it because Skool profiles are intentionally simple — and that simplicity creates real limits when you’re trying to grow or support communities. Your Skool profile is great for being inside Skool… but it’s not built for driving traffic, sharing multiple communities, or protecting your affiliate links outside the platform. You get: - One main place people see you - Limited room to explain what you support - No real control over how your links show up in DMs, QR codes, socials, or real-life conversations - And no reliable way to keep your favorite community links (and affiliate links) organized and updated I kept running into this personally. I wanted a single link I could share anywhere that: - Showed the communities I own or genuinely support - Let me update links without re-sending them - Worked just as well in real life via QR codes as it did online - And made sure my affiliate links didn’t get lost, replaced, or forgotten So I built that layer outside of Skool — but designed for Skool. Skool Bio Profits is where you create a simple, skool-branded bio link that does what your profile can’t: It helps you share communities intentionally, drive traffic back to them, and retain credit for the ones you love and promote. If you’re already active in Skool, you’re doing the hard part. This just gives your links a better home. 👉 Curious? You can build your profile inside Skool Bio Profits for free. It stays in preview mode until you decide to go live. P.S. If you’ve ever copied your Skool profile link and thought, “This doesn’t really say enough,” — yeah… same 😄

My #FeatureStory - Why Sell Collectables Online Exists
(I just realised I put this in the wrong place, so here it is again!) Go back. Go, way, way, back. To 1998. A new website called eBay has just gone live. A very short time later I, a lifelong stamp collector, decided to start selling my duplicates online to make a few bucks. That's almost 30 years ago, and since then I've learnt every trick in the book to maximise sales and profit. I'm now a professional stamp dealer and I only deal online. No fairs, no exhibitions, no bricks and mortar. My health has been what you'd generously call "challenging" of late, and it occurred to me that I have a wealth of knowledge about online selling that I can share in a practical way. Most eBay sellers make little or no money not because of a lack of knowledge of stamps, but the lack of knowledge of the best way to maximise return. That's why I started my community https://www.skool.com/selling-stamps-online-2123, although the community is called Sell Collectables Online, as the skills are transferable. I offer practical strategies to improve business today, not tomorrow, and turn online trading back to being fun.
