Challenge Day 5: The #Connections Section 🗞️
Think of someone in your life who is in need of help, community, knowledge, or support. What kind of Skool group would help them? Then either search the Communities tab to find something you can recommend to them, or write a post asking if there is anyone who is offering a community that could help. Let’s start reaching outside of our own immediate worlds to start connecting those we know and love with amazing Skool communities that could bring richness to their lives. Comment below to share any connections that you are able to make! And don’t forget to join us on Tuesday for our meet and greet, the PERSONALS, where you get to talk all about your community and who you help as well as learn more about others.

HOW IT WORKS - READ THIS FIRST
Ever wonder how you can let people know about your Skool community? Feel like you have so much to offer but don't know how to get people involved? Wish there was somewhere you were actually allowed to promote yourself and talk about your offer? Look no further! The Skool Classifieds are the place where you are not only allowed to promote yourself, but you are actually encouraged to do so! Like the Classifieds section of your local newspaper or the Community Message Board at the gym, this is the place to let people know what you do and what you offer. Here's how it works: 1. Invite other Skoolers you know to join the group using your invite link. The more people join, the more people there are to promote to! 2. You can post once a day only. This is to keep the group from getting spammy. If it's spammy, people won't read and you won't get noticed. Post as many days in a row as you want, but please do not post the same thing day after day - mix it up! 3. Make sure you add your post to the appropriate group/heading. Please see below for a description of what each group is for. If you don't see a group that is appropriate, message me. 4. Self-Promotion is what this group is all about, but please do not DM people with your offers. You will be removed from the group for doing this. 5. Introduce yourself in this thread, and then scroll up and find someone you have something in common with. Reach out. There are some really amazing people here! 😉 This is a place for us to support each other for our mutual benefit. Hate speech, offensive language, or general negativity will be deleted, and you will be removed from the group. *Please check out this post for more tips on how to get great results from your posts. And also this post by one of our own community members who has had great success growing his group through the CLASSIFIEDS. To learn How to Make Your Classifeds' Posts Work Harder for You, check out this masterclass by one of our moderators, @Faith Adebayo

#Breaking News: A new competitive week starts
Are you competitive? If you are you will enjoy Roast & Promote. People submit their community, website, ads, blog article and pretty much anything they create to receive brutally honest (but not offensive) feedback. But that's not all. You get rewarded for helping others. If you roast other people's posts better than everyone during the week, you get 7 days of free advertizing as a pinned post at the very top. Members got lot's of members and attention that way, like Brian who announced his audit calls and got several ones and a positive testimonial. And during the week, if you are among the top 3 roasters, you get daily shoutouts in fun posts like WWE themed post or this Mr. Beast parody or this sport news post. We give the deserved recognition for those who engage and use this space to help others. Want to get the exposure you deserve, the feedback you crave and be rewarded for all of it while having fun? Join us now!

You don't always need to fight the problem
For years, many people have been told to battle their anxiety. Fight it. Beat it. Defeat it. But what if part of the problem is that you've been fighting something that was actually trying to help? One thing I've noticed over the years is that many fears, habits and anxious responses started with a purpose. Protection. Avoiding discomfort. Trying to keep you safe. The difficulty comes when that protection starts taking away the very 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝗻𝗷𝗼𝘆. The holiday. The confidence. The sleep. The freedom. Sometimes change doesn't begin by fighting yourself. 𝗦𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗯𝘆 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗹𝘆.

#BreakingNews 🗞️ Trauma Tip
You Don't Have to Believe Every Thought Your Brain Produces One of the most common things I hear in therapy is: "But what if...?" What if something goes wrong? What if they leave? What if I'm making the wrong decision? What if I missed something? Trauma can teach our brains that constantly scanning for danger will keep us safe. The problem is, our brain starts treating possibilities as probabilities. The next time you notice yourself spiralling into a "what if" cycle, simply pause and say: "Here I am again, trying to predict the future. Thank you, brain, for trying to protect me—but I don't need to solve this right now." You don't have to answer every "what if." Sometimes, the kindest thing you can do is gently step out of the cycle and return to the present moment. 💚 If you're interested in learning more about trauma, the nervous system, and practical strategies like this, come and join us in The Skool Trauma Hub. We're building a safe community where trauma survivors, parents, therapists, professionals, and anyone wanting to understand trauma can learn, heal, and support one another. Because healing happens in safe connection.
