Turathi Electric launched in 2024 as part of Afnan’s popular Turathi line, crafted by their in‑house perfumers, It’s classified as an aromatic‑fruity‑woody scent, unisex but leans heavily masculine. It's a clean, fresh summers day in a bottle. Whilst I've heard that is said to be a direct clone of Ex Nihilo Blue Talisman, I haven't had my nose on it yet, but from comparing the structures, the appear to have been built the same way, with a bit of a difference in price. After ADG, this could easily make it into my top summer fragrances this year. Opens bright, zesty & juicy as hell. Bergamot gives that sharp, sunny citrus kick, it's crisp, clean, a little peely. Pink grapefruit adds a brighter, slightly tart, almost fizzy sweetness. Then pear comes in soft, sweet & fleshy. Mandarin rounds it out: softer, rounder, sweeter orange, no harsh edge. The whole opening is sparkling, fresh, fruity‑citrus, super energetic, smells clean right from the first spray. Zero watery or cheap citrus here. Even though citrus doesn't work well on my skin, I can still pick up citrus in the air, an hour after applying. At the core it warms up & gets its character. Apple is huge here, sweet, crisp, slightly green‑juicy apple. Cedarwood cuts right through it: dry, woody, slightly aromatic, clean and sharp, adding structure. Orange blossom adds a soft, creamy‑floral sweetness. The base is what stays on skin. Vanilla is sweet, creamy, smooth. Amber Dry is golden, resinous, warm but clean, almost mineral‑like. White musk is soft, clean, skin‑like Ambroxan is the secret weapon here: that clean, salty, mineral, sun‑warmed skin vibe, gives it that “electric”, sparkling, fresh‑woody depth. On my skin, I get 4 to 5hrs which is totally acceptable. It projects well for the first hour before settling down to a skin scent for me. But I still detect it outdoors in the air around my if there is a gentle air flow. A perfect summer/beach/gym scent. Light, clean & fresh. I'm 2 for 2 with this line, well worth exploring.
