Shower Gel/Body & Hair Wash
Disclaimer: This is going to be a little long. Do you use a Shower Gel???? When I buy a new Fragrance, I always want to also buy a Shower Gel. Unfortunately, not all new Fragrances have Shower Gels available at the time of purchase. After popularity kicks in, I usually can find a Shower Gel that is released post Fragrance release. I just love Shower Gels! With that being said.........Moisturize, Moisturize, Moisture!!!! It helps the scent absorb better and last longer. #Facts!! Here is my routine application to smell good all day.........It works for me. I always get compliments. 1. Shower......(Obviously....🤷🏾♂️) -- A clean body is a foundation for Fragrance. I use a hydrating gel, but I always start with Dial Soap (Antibacterial) and I always use a Loofah - Exfoliation) My goto gel is Creme Body Wash or Salt & Stone Body Wash. Oh yeah.........Jack Black 👌 (Sulfate Free). Lastly, I lather up with shower Gel that matches my SOTD. 2. Pat Dry or Don't (Preference-I Don't) -- This isn't popular, but I apply a couple of sprays (2-3) and then dry off. Yes, I know, what's the point. I'm just wiping aways the Fragrance when I dry off. Trust me.........that Fragrance still gets absorbed through your pores. Try it....... (I just ruined the molecules 🙄) 3. Fragrance Preparation -- Because I want my Cologne to last longer, I always moisturize my skin first. I always use Vaseline, I don't like lotions. I've been using it for 50+ years. I grew up with my Mom always greasing our ashy behinds!! 😁🤣 An awesome base for the Fragrance to cling to. 4. Pulse Points -- (Do not, I repeat, do not rub in. LOL!) Allow the Fragrance to dry naturally to protect its structure! Wrists, behind the ears, neck and inside the elbow, chest. etc....... Finally, I carry a travel spray, but rarely have to use it. It's only for those weak Fragrances that seem to always fade. Or I could just be going nose blind.....LOL!!
