The good Middle East frags give you the best bang for your buck and their quality is usually very underrated. Their quality (if you know what you're doing) is often as good or better than what most call "niche" frags. If you only have $500 to work with, one niche can't possibly scratch the itch and the designers usually don't interest me at this point.

@Jermaine Carolina For $500, you should be able to get two of those!
SOTA.M. - Egoiste Platinum by Chanel
So I knew this morning was not going to be a typical day at the office for me. Today I had an appointment with five (FIVE!) Federal agents, all sporting badges, guns and fancy law degrees. Two came to the office personally, while three joined our little meeting virtually. And they were all there to talk to me. How flattering!🫤 Well, I know my brothers (and sisters) here at the BoS. You want to know what was my fragrance of choice! As luck would have it, I was watching a YouTube video last night and it mentioned Egoiste Platinum. It's classy, balanced, etc etc. And according to the YouTuber, "It's the kind of scent that gives off the impression that the wearer has his life together!" I'm thinking it's a classic, rather quiet, modern fougere that was made for professional settings... Perfect! 9:00 AM - the initial spray was crisp and herbal. You can't miss the lavender and rosemary which gives it a clean, almost soapy scent. 10:00 AM - Company arrives and the Chanel is pumping off a cool, yet earthy vibe from the vetiver and patchouli. 12:00PM - The party is starting to break up, but this work of art is still there, cool as can be. Another successful outing provided by the gang at Chanel! In the fougere realm, I gotta give it a 10.0 /10.0. 1:00PM - I run home, take off the suit and tie, and put on a golf shirt and blue jeans. 1:07PM - Wash off the remaining Chanel, give myself about 5 sprays of my recently acquired Amouage Overture and take the dog for a walk.

@Jonathan Ventura Actually, I'm giving them another opportunity. Ordered Creed's Boi Du Portugal last night. According to @Aditya Choksi, the over/under on delivery is six weeks. I took the over. That bet is like taking candy from a baby.

@Raymond Reeves Oh yeah... I'm a real "crowd-pleaser".
Premiering Dior Fahrenheit EDT
This individual doesn’t need presentation. But, I have to say… I’m not sure if I’m predisposed, but I do feel the gasoline smelling people get, 🤣 at least much of the opening time. However, I’m really enjoying the dry down a lot so, smelling like gasoline is worth it! 🫠

One of my favorites!
Bois Du Portugal Vs Royal Portugal
Brothers, I’ve spent time wearing both Creed Bois du Portugal and Dua Royal Portugal, and honestly, they’re more alike than different. Bois du Portugal smells really clean, classy, and mature. It opens fresh and slightly citrusy, then settles into a smooth lavender and woody scent that just feels “put together.” It smells like something a well-dressed older gentleman would wear to a nice dinner or important meeting. The downside for me is that it stays pretty close to the skin and doesn’t last as long as I expected for the price. Dua Royal Portugal smells extremely similar right out of the gate. If you know Bois du Portugal, you’ll recognize it immediately. The main difference is that the Dua version feels a little louder and stronger. It projects more and lasts longer on my skin, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. It also feels slightly more modern, while the Creed feels more old-school and refined. If money was no issue, Creed Bois du Portugal feels smoother and more polished overall. But for real-world use, I reach for Dua Royal Portugal more often because it gives me almost the same scent, lasts longer, and I don’t feel bad spraying it freely. Bottom line: Creed smells more elegant and subtle Dua smells almost the same, just stronger and cheaper For me, Dua is the better daily option, and Creed is more of a special-occasion fragrance.

@Elliott Jones Thanks! Actually I just picked up the OG today. It's a great fragrance!👍
SOTD: Bvlgari Man Wood Neroli
Got this one in yesterday and took it for a spin today. Fresh, clean and woody. Smells similar to me to TF Neroli Portifino or John Varvatos Artisan Pure. Work safe/ spring / Summer/ casual / daytime use. Longevity was 5-6 hours off my skin / with about a 1ft of projection. Presentation is ok. It’s a clear bottle with a built in atomizer that isn’t great. I myself am not a fan of the Bvlgari Bottle style. Got a great deal on Maxaroma for 3.4 oz. This is solid fresh woody scent. This my 3rd bottle in the line up with Black being my favorite and Wood Essence. 7.5/10
