Brothers- this has been a difficult week. My dad passed away on Tuesday, and we have his visitation and funeral tomorrow. I will be wearing a fragrance, so not wearing one isn’t an option. My question is, what type of fragrance would you choose? I’ve ever been the sentimental type when it comes to fragrances, so I don’t foresee me attaching his funeral to the fragrance forever, unless it’s something I wear just once. Let me know what you would choose.

Started out a balmy 25 degrees here in Houston this morning and wanted to try one of the new samples out. This is a strong incense fragrance that I definitely get some green piney sharpness from. Initially spray i can tell its going to last a long time. Stepping outside into to cold wind im picking it up nicely 5 hours later and definitely present when I get back inside. About 1 hour into the wear it started reminding my for another fragrance I both own and love. Encens Sauve Extrait my Matiere Premiere not necessarily the same scent but close enough that while I really enjoy this one for the pines resins in the opening i won't be purchasing a full bottle. At least not until I empty the Matiere Premiere. If you own either the other is redundant but if you dont own one both are worth trying Arso is slightly less sweet.
