Picked this up at La Jetee while visiting the store with @Michael LoCascio Sr. The opening is very Green with some citrus tones. 15 minutes in the citrus is coming into the picture now and taking over as the dominant scent. The undertones of Green accords are providing great balance. At 30 minutes I am starting to pick up on the floral notes along with some soft spices. At 60 minutes the fragrance is transitioning into the base notes and I am picking up some of the Amber and Musk with undertones of soft florals. The dry down was a very nice musky scent with some tones of woods and Amber which was very appealing. Performance. The projection of this fragrance was fair at best with it creating a scent bubble off my skin that was about 18" for about 60 minutes. Sillage was not better with it creating a scent trail not much better than the projection. Longevity on my skin was about 4 hours with it becoming a skin scent after about 2 hours of wear. Will definitely be reapplying throughout the day.

The last major barrier I see getting into this hobby is definitely gotta be from social media!! Scroll long enough and you’ll see 300-bottle backdrops, weekly “must-have” lists and declarations that something is either legendary or trash. Algorithms reward intensity. Nuance doesn’t trend as well. Comparison is subtle but powerful. A modest, well-curated collection can suddenly feel inadequate when measured against highlight reels. The danger isn’t inspiration fellas, it’s pressure. The best antidote, I believe, is intentionality. Define your own goals. Maybe it’s ten fragrances that cover every season. Maybe it’s slow, deliberate sampling. The hobby thrives when it’s personal, not performative. Everyone's #Journey is different, don't try and travel someone else's! What say you, guys?
