I've been crazy busy with work, but I finally have time off for a few days before going back into the fray. I also lost a big contract today, so I will have a bit more free time for a while until I pick up something new. So to cheer myself up, I figured I'd share what was under the tree for me this year. I also want to thank @Antonio O. Centeno and @Renato Carotti for Balle Rouge. Apparently, it arrived a while back, but my mom assumed it was a Christmas present and wrapped it under the tree, LOL. I didn't realize what it was until I saw the packing slip my mom kept with it. It's my second from the house - the first, Amberique, I won a couple of years ago in the monthly giveaway contests we used to have. I appreciate the gesture, and I can't wait to give it a few wears. So here's what I got. One of my "gifts" was a life-sized "Thing" prop with a poseable armature inside that allows me to move and shape the fingers. I bought it back in August from a movie prop house in LA, with the intention to use it in a Morticia Addams pinup for Halloween, but it didn't arrive, and the shoot got cancelled, and I promptly forgot about it. It showed up on my doorstep on December 23rd, just in time for Christmas and to creep out my nieces and nephews, LOL. I love 8641, and this is the other half, combined with Puerto Rico. Mauboussin Pour Lui Cristal Oud. My third from the house. It's very oud and rose forward. Not sure I like it as much as Star and UHLI, but it's still very nice.
