Sexy/classy holiday frag?
I have Christmas dinner at the country club on Monday. My collection has wildly changed since last year's dinner. Last year I wore FW Suits, an excellent alternative to YSL Tuxedo. Looking for some ideas. Maybe I have it or something in that space. What say you? Some that I am thinking of - J'Adoube - Grand Master - Mentor - Oajan - Intense Cafe

@Raul Olveda well my dupes were a consideration just before you responded

@Raul Olveda I did not, still on the hunt for a decent deal. They jacked the prices for the cooler weather
SOTE - Sky of Amber
This is Dua's version of Ex Nihilo's Amber Sky. I have not tried the OG so no comparison. This is a fresh delivery and initial thoughts, as always with Dua I give them at least 3-4 weeks shelf time to do their thang, then I will do full review and judgement. Opens up with citrus, some nutmeg or baking spice and a dominant sweet resinous note. For about 15 min it can be a bit much if sprayed too much in the same spot. Dry down is fantastic, soft, smooth amber, vanilla, Tonka and creamy sandalwood . Side note, opening to mid experience is much different in clothes, it is brighter, more citrus, spice and less resinous. @Ben E I know you wanted to hear about this one

@Jeff Beason I love the dry down, so it's a win already, for me.
Austin
At the end of a rough day, UPS showed up at my door about five minutes after I got home. Wish all deliveries were timed that well. My bottle of Austin showed up. Really like the presentation City Rhythm does.

Is it just me?
@Mike Jermann asked about pet peeves in his post https://www.skool.com/bos/whats-some-of-your-pet-peeves-about-the-fragrance-world?p=e073eff6 and my biggest pet peeve is house not offering smaller bottle sizes with a a relative appropriate price. As my collection grows and I still want to add way more variety, when I see a bottle only offered in a 100ml or larger or a ridiculous high priced 50ml, I just walk away, sometime never getting a bottle from that house. I still do buy 100ml, but mostly for frags that I MUST have or the price is way too good to pass up, but I like to share my treasures so that's a win win. Size is part of the biggest reason why I started with Dua and at 70+ now. Is it just me r do you any of you do the same thing?

@Blake Merl I would love to have nothing but 50's, except for a handful, that I know I will blow through them

@Lon Chaneyfield I get the price per ML sometimes works out to be more, but if I end up wasting half or more, but for me, it saves me money because I know the odds are, I will not finish the bottle or even half. Its like only wanting a few slices of bread, but its cheaper per slice for the loaf, but you know you probably won't eat the rest of it, let alone half.

Most Popular men's fragrance for the year. What fragrance was Popular for your birth year (if it's on there doesn't go back very long) 51 yrs back and would you wear it now... mine is 1985 drakkar noir. O actually did own it when I was like 10yrs old
