Some days I just want that "Warm Fuzzy" feeling. I woke up this morning and heard birds chirping!! Now it is still February so we are by no means out of the woods yet! But I am getting hopeful that Spring will arrive. I decided to put on the Santal Royal from Guerlain as while it is woody/leathery with some powder to give me that warm fuzzy feeing it also has a pronounced floral/rose in it which helps me align with the soon to arrive spring season! This is definitely one of my favorites and has been converted to Full Bottle. Hope you all have a great Friday and Valentines day!!

Good Friday morning to the fragrance family. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful 50-degree day here in Chicago, and I’m definitely looking forward to the weekend — some rest, some relaxation, and maybe even a little fun in this stretch of decent winter weather. My scent of the day comes from a house that isn’t widely talked about, straight from the Kingdom of Bahrain. I’m wearing Chic Shaik Emerald No. 70, and this one absolutely blew me away in the store — I knew immediately it had to come home with me. Today is my first full wear. The opening is bright and refreshing with citrus and clary sage blended seamlessly together. As it settles, it transitions into smooth, light florals that feel elegant and understated. In the base, the fragrance becomes sensual and grounded with musky woods and vetiver that give it a refined warmth. So far, this fragrance earns an 8.75 from me, but I can already tell this is one that may climb higher with more wears. Enjoy your Friday, family. Make it a great day and smell amazing doing it.
