Fragrance Review: Ganymede Extrait by Marc-Antoine Barrois
Received a decant a while back from @Nick Clemente (Thanks Nick) and finally got around to wearing this fragrance. The opening is slightly spicy with some of the Incense and balsamic nature of the Myrrh coming through. At 15 minutes I am still smelling the Incense and Myrrh, but I am also starting to pick up some of the Immortal notes which to my nose are coming off dry and earthy. At 30 minutes I am still getting the Immortal note but I am also starting to pick up some of the dry Woody/Hay notes. At 60 minutes the scent has turned into a very dry woodiness and is unappealing to me. I am not getting anything floral or sweet from the Safraleine note. The Dry Down - Incense, dry woods, and pungent. This fragrance is definitely not for me. Performance: The projection of this fragrance is very good with it creating a scent bubble of about 3 feet for about 3 hours. The sillage is also very good with the fragrance creating a scent trail of 3+ feet for about 3+ hours as well. Longevity is good with the fragrance lasting about 7 to 9 hours and becoming a skin scent after about 4 to 5 hours. If you know me I try to always find something positive in a fragrance but Unfortunately this fragrance is not for me. Anyone interested in about a ~3ML decant please let me know and I will send you the decant. I'd rather someone else enjoy this fragrance (USA Only Please).

Collection Pics
Was looking through collection pics for inspiration, and honestly, it helps a ton—both for smarter purchases and for knowing who to ask when I’m curious about a fragrance. I feel like collection posts are one of the best resources we have here (and decants are always welcome too—best way to build fragrance knowledge without going all-in). If you’re up for it, I’d love to see some updated collection pics in this thread—kind of like what @George Hernandez has done in the past and @Michael Marchand has just done recently It’s a great way for newer/rising brothers (and those of us who haven’t connected much yet) to get a better sense of everyone’s taste and what knowledge you bring to the table. A picture really does say a thousand words, and it makes the interactions in the brotherhood feel more personal and connected. If you haven’t posted a collection pic in a while and feel like sharing, I’d especially enjoy seeing yours: @Elliott Jones , @Srinesh C m , @Bryan Wong , @Adeel Arif , @Ferdinand De Dobbelaere , @Calvin Ng , @Craig Stevenson , @Mike Jermann , @Roland Wright , @Tim Nicklis , (No pressure at all—only if you feel like it.) I’ll add more names as I keep browsing, but mainly wanted to start a spot where we can all share collections for inspiration and better convo. Appreciate you all.
