Good morning, Brotherhood! Yesterday the sun was shining, and it was a gorgeous day, so I sprayed on some sunshine vibes in a bottle courtesy of @George Hernandez. Thank you brother, truly appreciate it! Acqua di Parma Arancia di Capri was launched in 1999, and it’s still bangin’ to this day. Arancia di Capri translates to “Orange of Capri,” which is exactly what this fragrance is. This is one of the most photorealistic fragrances I’ve ever experienced, it captures the ripe juiciness of a mandarin orange and its rind. It’s a bright, aromatic fragrance with a deep orange citrus opening that makes you feel like you’re walking through an orange grove in the sunshine. Absolutely captivating, in my opinion. As this beauty dries down, the slightest touch of caramel and musk gives a soft sweetness to the orange and adds a little boost in projection. Think back to cruising through the mall and walking past an Orange Julius… you pop in, grab that cold, creamy orange drink, and take a sip. That’s exactly the vibe I get, a total time machine moment. Now let’s talk performance… The first time I wore this, I thought it stopped projecting after about two hours because I couldn’t smell a bit of it on myself. But to my surprise, when I walked in to see my family and gave them all a quick hug, they all said, “Damn T-Bone, you smell gooood!” (That’s my nickname.) Guess I went a little nose blind, which is a bummer because I really love this profile. The second wear, I hit myself with about 10 sprays and got around 4 hours of good usability, with a skin scent lingering for a couple hours more, which isn’t too shabby. Overall, this is a great unisex, situational fragrance that’s perfect for anyone looking for something different from the typical citrus lineup. It’s unique, stands out from the rest, and works beautifully on a warm day with the family or any casual event. I’m giving this beauty a 7.9/10, and it would be higher if it lasted a bit longer.

So many of the brothers have been rocking this gem lately, so I decided to give it another wear. Released last year Absolu has taken the Original Bottled dna, added some fruity elements and magnified it. This is a more refined version, it's rich, dark & deep. I would honestly believe its the best in the entire line, and I own quite a few now. This is as close to beast mode as Boss have ever been. I like this so much it has managed to slide into my top 10 as a new entry at no 5. It opens up with crisp Apple & a juicy plum note which is ballanced with a warm cinnamon to great effect. That initial sweetness that this fragrances revolves around is that plum note, which gives a beautiful sweetness. The mid notes introduce a leather accord, which stands out well. Patchouli & myrrh add some depth. The dry down reveals a rich blend of sandalwood, musk & cedarwood/amber, which give it a warm, woody character. on occassion im also picking up on a touch of smoky incense. Performance is something else here. Whilst some of its siblings fall short here, Absolu will have your back for the best part of the day, were talking up to 12 hours here. Good projection with a nice scent bubble too. Definitly a colder weather, night time, date night scent. My Rating 9/10 Scent 3 Longevity 2.5 Sillage 2.5 Y/N 1
