BOS Weekly Member Shoutouts 👏
Brothers, here are a few standout posts from the BOS community this week. 1. @Lon Chaneyfield Post: https://www.skool.com/bos/my-scent-journey-always-moving-up-to-the-real-thing Big shoutout to Lon for sharing his scent journey and connecting fragrance to a bigger life pattern — wanting the real thing, appreciating quality, and understanding the difference between copying the look and owning the experience. That is exactly the kind of deeper fragrance conversation that makes BOS valuable. 2. @Renato Carotti Post: https://www.skool.com/bos/the-hunt-for-dead-stock-tober-chasing-discontinued-fragrances-without-losing-your-nose-or-your-wallet Shoutout to Renato for bringing a useful and grounded take on discontinued fragrances. Instead of just hyping rarity, he reminded everyone to understand what scent profiles they actually love before chasing bottles. Practical, thoughtful, and helpful. 3. @Eduardo Figueroa Post: https://www.skool.com/bos/sad-challenging-times-ahead-prada-lhomme Big shoutout to Eduardo for trusting the community with something deeply personal. His post reminded everyone that BOS is not only about fragrance — it is also about the men behind the bottles, and the support this group can offer during hard seasons. 4. @Stephen DeMent Post: https://www.skool.com/bos/should-we-continue-using-the-word-oriental-in-perfumery Shoutout to Stephen for starting a thoughtful discussion around language, history, and perfumery. He brought personal background and context to the topic, which helped elevate the conversation beyond simple opinion.

Scammers: DefiniteOf
Ok… you’ll be reading the words of a patsy. A sucker. A victim of scam and fraud. But the outcome is a blessing of knowledge going forward in purchases of any kind- do your due diligence. It’s been an emotional few months and details can be shared after, but I was looking forward to Midnight Sin and if you’ve read my posts, you know this was a big deal for me. Hours after the announcement of Midnight Sin seen on Instagram, I came across DefiniteOf’s post featuring Daniel genuinely excited and proud about the collaboration. I placed my order through the link provided and shortly after began receiving updates from support@definiteof. Tracking showed the package originating in Carbonia, moving through Venice and customs in Italy, then shipping to the U.S. on 4/25. It cleared customs on 4/30, arrived at a shipping partner on 5/2, departed on 5/5, and was finally marked delivered to me on 5/9 at 10:41 AM. When I arrived at my girlfriend’s apartment Saturday afternoon, I found a heavily scuffed package sitting outside the door. The label was damaged, but I could still make out my name and address. I opened it expecting Midnight Sin and disappointed that it was a bag- not a box. What I found instead disappointment in a fragrance called WarmKiss. The packaging was mangled, though thankfully the bottle itself survived intact without shards of broken glass hurting anyone. The problem is: I never ordered this fragrance. Not from a niche retailer, not from Temu, not from SHEIN — nowhere. Naturally, confusion set in over the entire weekend and yesterday morning, I checked my email again and saw the notification from support@definiteof saying my package had been delivered. When I contacted them explaining I had not received Midnight Sin, I was then sent information showing the shipment originated from China — not Italy, as the original tracking indicated. At this point, anger was felt. A feel good gift to myself is all I wanted and it was a scam. I sent screenshots of everything sent to me and told them to rectify this- send me what I paid for. This morning, they thanked me and offered $7 credit. Trustpilot is full of complaints against them and I’m angry about being out of some money.

SOTD/ Fragrance Review: KHAMRAH WAHA by Lattafa
100 ml Retail Price: $49.99 HERE Release Year: 2026 Perfumer: Jordi Fernández, creator of such hits like Haltane and Khamrah Qwaha Accords: Aquatic, Sweet, Fresh, Citrus, Spicy Top Notes: bergamot, yuzu, ginger, juniper Middle Notes: cucumber juice, iris, sea salt, sage Base Notes: vanilla, Akigalawood®, musk, Ambrofix, Tonka bean Background on Lattafa: A Legacy Built on Fragrance (Courtesy of Lattafa-USA.com) Lattafa was founded in the 1980s by Sheikh Shahid Ahmad and Shoaib Iqbal, born from a desire to create world-class fragrances that reflect the richness of Arabian heritage. What began as a local initiative in the UAE has grown into one of the region’s most admired fragrance houses — with a global footprint and a reputation for quality, authenticity, and design excellence. Today, Lattafa products are available in over 120 countries and trusted by millions of fragrance lovers around the world. My Take (you’ve been warned…) After the bait-and-switch mess that was Midnight Sun from a scam reseller, I needed to get the bad taste of that whole experience out of my heart and off my skin. So I pivoted to this fragrance after seeing back-to-back Instagram reels from Daniel Rene and Steven Gavrielatos. Ordered May 19, arrived May 25, and after spending time with it today, the compliments came in heavy. This fragrance is sexy. Sensual. Flirty. It feels like a cold drink of water on a warm Spring or Summer day—beach resort energy, lounging poolside with nowhere to be but present in the moment. There’s an aquatic familiarity that may remind some of Davidoff Cool Water, but let me be clear: this is not a dupe. It’s clean, sweet, spicy, and absolutely magnetic. The dry-down is 🔥🔥🔥—smooth, aromatic, and projecting a calm “cool as cucumber” sillage that just pulls people in. While it’s of index design, it leans heavily on the masculine. Honestly suitable for almost any setting. My warning? If you value your personal space, don’t wear this.
