Have a resort casual luncheon today with a supplier and then this evening will have a wardrobe change to welcome a lot of our customers for a few days for a rewards trip for them. First time in a while I’ve brought several scents on a long trip like this. Today is the day I’m wearing Creed Royal Oud to set the mood!! Hope you’re all having a great Monday!!

Thank you to @Nestor Lopez for sending this last year. I had it set on the shelf for colder weather and a good situation to wear it in, and today felt right. I may never stop wearing it. This is one of the most beautiful chypre fragrances I've ever tried. The notes don't list leather, but I get a lovely, slightly smoky leather accord with it. The oak moss and ambroxan combine to make for a very masculine, sophisticated, professional scent that I am absolutely in love with. This is definitely going on my wish list, but at $175 for a bottle, even at discounters, it might be a bit out of reach for a while.

Another cold day in Orlando and I was feeling like a strong Vanilla for the day. Enter Vanilla Planifolia Extrait 21 by Guerlain. This is one of the best Vanilla fragrances that I have smelled and am looking forward to getting a full bottle as soon as my decant has finished. The opening is a blast of sweet Vanilla. At 15 minutes the intense sweetness from the initial opening has settled down and I get a very elegant Vanilla that is not overpowering and wears very well on my skin. At 30 minutes the Vanilla continues to develop. It has now become somewhat creamy with some spicy undertones. The creamines and sweetnees are still the star of the show, but the spice gives it a needed enhancement. At 60 minutes this is a well blended Vanilla scent with some spicy undertones. The dry down of this fragrance is simply amazing and is where the magic happens. It becomes a creamy, yet slightly spicy, Vanilla and Amber scent that radiates off the skin. Performance: Projection from this fragrance on my skin is Excellent. The fragrance created a scent bubble of about 2.5 feet for about 3+ hours. The Sillage was also excellent with the fragrance creating a scent trail of over 3 feet for about 3+ hours. The longevity on my skin was amazing. I was able to smell this fragrance well after 8 hours of wear and it became a skin scent at 3 to 4 hours. Definitely full bottle worthy.
