I just smelled and picked up the new Prada Paradigme Le Parfum at Sephora. First let me say that even though the original Paradigme EDP received its fair share of hate, I actually liked it. I thought it was a very versatile and mass appealing scent. My only issue is that as an older man, it's perhaps a little too youthful and overly sweet for me. But as I said I still liked it and have been wearing it often. This parfum takes that Paradigm DNA happily and dials down the sweetness and ramps up the amber and woody notes, and makes it a really well blended mix of the two. It makes it more classy and refined, and more mature and sophisticated. It's exactly what I was looking for as a flanker to the original. And since it's a parfum, I would assume that the performance is better too. It's a little darker though, so it's not as all-seasonal as the original. But I still think you can wear this pretty much wherever and whenever you want. Yeah it just came out, so it's $210. But I liked it so much, I just couldn't wait for it to hit discounters. If you're an older guy like me and you liked the original, then I would highly recommend getting your nose on this. Or if you just didn't like the original, then I think there's a good chance this will be more to your liking. In any case, my kudos to Prada, because I think this is a great flanker!
