Finally got around to getting this gem. I procured a sample from a gym bro/fraghead. I’m sorry I waited as long as I did. Absolutely outstanding. I’ll check on it again in a few weeks. Happy to have this in the rotation.

Got myself a decant. It's in my top 3 designers right now. I'm new to perfumes. I only have few dozen bottles. I've smelled close to 100 perfumes. Dior Homme Parfum (2014) is one of the best experiences I've had. Personal experience: - Not animalic despite what Fragrantica say - Strong projection and good longevity - 3 - 5 sprays is more than enough - Smells like a niche unisex instead of a hyper-masculine - Best leather fragrance I've had - Leather is not too prominent as in Forever Wanted Elixer Maybe the scent changed after sitting in the bottle for a while. My 1st experience is a bit different from other reviewers. One thing I agree for sure is DHP is an absolute masterpiece. I seriously want to see an accurate clone of this.

This one was another case of "Shipping Shock". The performance and the fragrance itself have gotten much better since I first got it a few weeks ago. The subtle woods with the slight sweetness really have become more pronounced. A very pleasant and nuanced fragrance. And, as I've mentioned before, the best looking bottle in my collection IMHO.
