SOTD - Dior Homme Intense
Such an amazing fragrance. One of my favorites. Some people consider this a special occasion fragrance. Not me - when it's this good it's anytime, anywhere.

Going with my decant of this hybrid today. If you've ever wondered what would happen if you mixed YSL MYSLF and Azzaro Most Wanted, you would find out if you try this. To my nose it's more MYSLF than Most Wanted. Starts off with that fresh, sweet floral notes of MYSLF but dries down to be more like Most Wanted with a touch of the YSL in the background. Mass appealing compliment grabber that could be worn most anytime.

@Lon Chaneyfield Technically, a hybrid. It has the notes of both fragrances that mix to make its own thing.

Going with one of my favorite Lattafah fragrances, Vintage Radio. Such great plum and palo santo feeling is beautiful. Such a perfect interpretation of Paragon that gives me outstanding performance.

Nice one! I didn't like this when I first tried it but I let it sit a while and now it's *chefs kiss*. Except the bottle itself, that's the worst. If I ever grab a bottle of this I have it in my mind to switch it to a generic bottle.
Tested a few warmer weather flankers - must buys or redundant?
Lately, I've been getting in some warmer-weather decants to try to build out the spring/summer section of my collection. I noticed the cooler temp part of my collection outnumbers the warmer by a wide margin. (This could be due to the fact that my skin is where summer freshies go to die. My skin soaks them up and they're gone in a flash) I already own bottles of YSL Y edp and Prada L'Homme and recently got in decants of YSL Y Iced Cologne and Prada L'Homme L'eau. Both flankers in their respective lines. Both offer a fresher, lighter, more airy take on the ones I have. The YSL Iced Cologne definitely has a lot of mint in it and the Prada L'eau ups the freshness with a blast of ginger at the top. What I noticed is the difference in both of these is mainly in the opening which, in my opinion, doesn't last very long though the overall performance on both is fairly good. After a while both dry down into their lines well known DNA. Would I accept them if I got them as a gift? I surely would, but I find both too redundant to what I already own to purchase them myself.

Let’s Talk About the Most Versatile Word in the English Language… and Somehow, Fragrance Too!!
Hey guys, Joe A. here with another one for ya'! Alright frag fam, today we’re discussing a word that may very well be the Swiss Army knife of vocabulary. Yeah, you know the one. The term ----- “fuck.” That's right, now before anyone clutches their atomizers too tightly, hear me out… because linguistically speaking, this might be the most flexible word ever created. It can express anger, excitement, disbelief, admiration, frustration, joy, pain, shock, respect or emphasis, sometimes all in the same sentence! Stub your toe? “FUCK!” Smell an incredible fragrance? “Okay… that’s fucking good.” See the price of niche these days? “…you’ve gotta be fucking kidding me.” Same word. Completely different emotional payload. And honestly? That emotional punch is exactly why it eventually made its way into fragrance marketing. Because modern perfumery isn’t just selling scent anymore, it’s selling attitude. ---------------- The obvious heavyweights here are: *Tom Ford – Fucking Fabulous Love it or hate it, this release changed the conversation overnight. The name alone generated controversy, curiosity and hype before anyone even smelled almond, leather or tonka. It wasn’t subtle, and that was the point. The fragrance world suddenly realized a bottle name could carry swagger the same way fashion or music does. *Aaron Terence Hughes – F*ckboy Released as part of ATH’s Spring Equinox Collection, F*ckboy leans into provocative naming with zero apology, which is honestly very on-brand for Aaron’s philosophy of fragrance as raw personality rather than polite luxury. The scent itself is actually far more wearable than the name suggests: bright citrus and peppermint up top, an amber heart and a creamy base of vanilla, honey, tonka, patchouli and benzoin. ---------------- Then you’ve got fragrances playing in the same rebellious sandbox, even if they dodge the exact word: *État Libre d’Orange – Putain des Palaces(French slang pushing boundaries long before shock-value naming became trendy)

As NYC born and raised, i probably drop the f-bomb dozens of times a day. It's the most adaptable word in the English language. Honestly, if its used in marketing, it doesn't even faze me.
