After smelling this on paper, I was excited to wear it to the office today, and I am very impressed! Their 10ml atomizers are excellent, and I'm jealous of everyone that scored their discovery set for $30 at rack stores last year! What a phenomenal deal that was! West Loop is a fantastic smelling, spicy, floral (almost fruity), ambery edp with some mild tonka, and is moderately sweet. Projection and sillage were moderate for the first hour then steady mild to the 7 hour mark. And it maintained its character all day; very impressive. This feels more casual than dressy to me, and I recommend getting your nose on it! Have a great night brothers!

Wore this to the motor vehicle office of all places, and it still delivered. Bright citrus on top, with creamy woods and amber underneath that left a smooth, wonderful scent trail. Got two compliments. One from my girlfriend right away, and another when a woman in line leaned over to ask if we were in the right spot. It’s not a loud fragrance, but it has just enough presence to draw people in. Bal d’Afrique Absolu really proves it can shine, even in the most ordinary settings. Clean, elevated, and quietly magnetic. Definitely gives off that “smells expensive” energy, even at the DMV.
