Thanks to help from @Ben E , I was able to pick up a couple of Imaginary Authors selections last week that were delivered yesterday. Of course, not a day after we got that set up, Imaginary Authors announced they were reformulating Yesterday Haze, so I dug into my birthday budget and picked that up, too. It also arrived yesterday, so it was like an Imaginary Authors-themed mailbox. The pickup: The Cobra and the Canary - discontinued earlier this year, I was going to let it go. It's a leather and Iris fragrance, and wasn't one of my top priorities, but it was available for a good price, and so I decided to go ahead and grab it. All of the IA boxes come with a free sample, and the one included here was for Memoires of a Trespasser. St Julep - a wonderful minty green spring and summer fragrance. It was an early favorite in the discovery kit, and I had long ago used up my sample. I have a feeling this one might be on its way out the door, too, so I am glad to have picked this one up as well. The sample included here was... wait for it..... Yesterday Haze! Yesterday Haze - a green, nutty, fig-themed fragrance in the same realm as phylosokos and Fig Extasy, but with a warmer, creamier nutty base that reminds me very much of the fall in California. The new version promises to be very similar but is replacing some of the ingredients with more sustainable versions, and they are updating the artwork. They included a sample of the new version along with a card showing a preview of the new artwork and information about the reformulation. They also included the regular free sample - this time, Fox In The Flowerbed. And because I have loyalty points, I got a free tote bag, and it came with a bookmark, which the nerd in me really, really loves. BUT WAIT! There's more..!!! Back in June, I ordered a sample pack from House of Mammoth after seeing their award nomination. It was for DinoS'Mores, a gourmand chocolate, marshmallow, and barley cracker inspired fragrance. To round out the pack, I got:
