New to the Game
I’m fairly new to the fragrance world. I like many started out by purchasing more fragrances than I probably should have. That being said I’m trying to get my hands on more samples and or decants. What would be your best suggestion to accomplish this task. I was thinking of purchasing the Sephoras best sampler that offers a bottle of which ever you find works best for you. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ahead of time.
SOTD: YSL Y Iced
Bright and refreshing twist the the Y line. Smells similar to others but with this initial cooling burst and upgraded atomizer. I think this is an uplifting scent that exudes productivity and a Carpe Diem mentality when wearing it. https://youtube.com/shorts/x8h_XhQuBeQ?si=XZjjcQNVtc-EO3tC

I love this scent it’s just that the longevity is one of the worst I’ve worked with.
SOTD: rayhaan tropical vibe
So I bought 35 decants from smellbettersamples and I’m gonna test them out over the next few weeks. Today’s scent is rayhaan tropical vibe. Which in short is a tropical fruity sweet fragrance that isn’t the best fragrance out there for the mango note or coconut note. I see other fragrances being better as this one doesn’t stand out just tropical fruit thats a bit harsh and synthetic doesn’t smell realistic and it’s not smooth on my skin. FBW?? Absolutely not! Just no

I own many fragrances from Rayhaan. So far they have all been solid. Pacific Aura is a good one that I really enjoy.

Hey Gents, my name is Trev and I’m glad I found this place. I’ve always had lots of hobbies from sports memorabilia, cigars, to candles. Yeah, I know odd combination…Lol. I’m from the great state of PA and just got in to understanding fragrances and the different notes and the smells they provide. I had a few good ones and just wanted to dig deeper and understand the smells. That being said excited to understand the hobby and what the different houses bring to the game.

Man, that spicy ginger and cardamom opening is actual perfection—pure class in a bottle. It’s the ultimate cozy, masculine vibe. Only catch? It’s a total ghost on me. Can’t even hit the 4-hour mark before it disappears. Smell like a king, briefly.

I wore this a couple of days ago and felt the same way. What a terrific manly scent. It exudes strength and confidence. I got a little more out of it but a great fragrance.
