Premiering Issey Miyake: L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme Intense
Today I was taking my dad to a post surgery follow up appointment, so I thought it was a good day to try this one. Its aroma took me by surprise. It’s definitely a particular and multifaceted scent, that might result polarizing for some and more attractive for the matured population. The opening comes across as a bitter citrusy powerhouse, being the uniqueness of the Yuzu the shining star. While the dry down stars to happen, the bitterness tones down and gives space for the spices to enter the scene along with some sweetness that intensifies and enriches the blend. The dry down smoothens while keeping its citrusy and spicy backbone, the resinous, mossy and ambery nuances take their place rounding the scent with a very masculine and robust aroma. The projection and longevity are good (when you overspray it like I do), although many find it as a weak performer. If you spray more including clothes, it will last. Overall, this is a great fragrance to have with an outstanding DNA.

Cloudh Nine by Fugazzi review
#sotd... Cloudh Nine by Fugazzi... Cloudh Nine is a soft, airy, woody floral fragrance. Fugazzi has taken the deep heavy oud note and made it not as harsh and much more wearable in my opinion. You do get greeted with floral on the opening but it does still maintain the masculinity. As the opening starts to fade, a nice smooth musky scent comes through. It wasn't until deep into the dry down that I picked up on any type of wood. At that point, the woodiness that appears is soft and creamy. While this being a soft fragrance, don't mistake it's performance! This does not have room projecting power. But what Cloudh Nine does is leave a nice sillage behind you. People will know you have been there. Now, my experience with this is that around the five hour mark, I started going nose blind to it. I could not pick it up on myself anymore but others around me could. I refreshed at the 9 hour mark. I am giving this a 9.5 out of 10.
