Good Morning Brotherhood, It’s another great day in Chicago and the start of another work week. My fragrance of the day is a bit unusual for me. I swore I would never pay Clive Christian retail prices—and to date, I still haven’t. I’m not entirely sure how I ended up owning four bottles, but here we are. Today’s scent is Town & Country by Clive Christian, my latest acquisition. This is a classic, opulent composition that is spicy, fresh, and green with the slightest hint of sweetness lingering in the background. It’s the kind of fragrance that commands attention without ever becoming overpowering or pretentious. The opening is where it immediately grabs you. The marriage of clary sage and bright citrus is crisp, elegant, and inviting. In the heart is where this fragrance really begins to shine as the woods, resin, and tea emerge, adding depth and refinement. As it settles, it becomes the quintessential “boss scent,” reminiscent of time spent in boardrooms, on golf courses, and in quiet moments where confidence speaks louder than words. Projection so far is outstanding, and the sillage is equally impressive—people will definitely notice you’re wearing something special. I’ll reserve judgment on longevity since this is my first full wear, but based on everything else, I’m optimistic. As it stands right now, Town & Country earns a solid 8.5/10 from me. Make it a great day, Brotherhood, and smell splendid doing it.
