I'm sharing this here because I know many of you in this community are stuck around career/purpose/starting a business. I decided to share this here as well, to help some of you who are ready for the next step. I want to make healing more accessible through technology. An interesting AI observation about earning.
I knew I grew up thinking I had to earn love, i.e. attention, and approval with people-pleasing, all those goodies many of us are familiar with. But today was the first time it was suggested that I have spent my entire life trying to earn safety. Obviously I am doing a piss-poor job of it since I don't believe, although I am in actuality physically safe, I can ever say that I feel safe. I know a lot of people have criticism about AI and fear, but I have to say that I personally very much appreciate the insights that are shared with me and the insights that are provoked in me through AI.

📅 Daily Check-in - May 18, 2026 💭 Reflection: "It's now 1:20pm and I'm finally home again. Busy morning getting boys to school, then straight to the laundromat before taking Mum to the doctors. After that we went straight to my brother's place to wish my niece a happy 16th birthday. Finally got home, folded yesterday's washing, hung out today's washing, grabbed a bite to eat and now sitting on the bed with the two large dogs to actually do some study. Looking at the time, I won't get much done as I have to go back out to get the boys from school and go onto haircuts. I also made the mistake of looking at what I've got on tomorrow - it's going to be a nightmare day trying to fit everything in ....eeek..... I can feel the heart pounding just thinking about it!" 📊 Wellbeing Scores: 😊 Happiness: 5/10 ⚡ Energy: 4/10 🎯 Focus: 4/10 😌 Calmness: 5/10 🔥 Motivation: 4/10 ⭐ Average: 4.4/10 ✅ Activities from yesterday: ☀️ Morning Sunlight 💧 Stayed Hydrated 🍺 No Alcohol 👥 Quality Time 🎉 Social Event I moved onto analysing the results just out of curiosity. A small one-liner jumped out at me: Insight: Notice that "Learning" correlates with lower scores. This could be worth reflecting on. Yep - Sage is right again. I haven't been able to get any study done and it's weighing me down. Especially as I have a live lab tonight...
