How Do You Do Follow-Ups BBQ Style Opener? How Is It Done or Look Like?
How would you follow up after diagnosing someone with their key challenges and checked out 1 or 2 videos from them? (Watching their content is the doctor diagnosing from what Travis told me). I'm planning to reach out to Jeff Alberts in fitness (who prepares athletes for bodybuilding shows). The key challenges are: • Operating in a specialized niche • Scaling coaching without diluting quality • Competing in a noisy fitness market So I might say (1st message): Hey Jeff! How are you able to keep up without burning out coaching athletes for a bodybuilding show while taking on consultation calls? 2nd Message: Blank? No idea? Another symptom? I know that watching their content is kind of like a doctor diagnosing a patient, based on what @Travis Sago has told me. My best guess is that the follow-up should include a “symptom” you notice in their content, but I’m not really sure what that would look like in a BBQ-style message. And how would you write those follow-ups in a BBQ-style opener?

Big Mistake Rant
Ronin are investors not copywriters. AI is great. But would you rather have an AI that can write copy to sell Gold at market value? ($5036 an ounce.) Or would you rather have a supply of gold for $1,000 an ounce? We, Ronin, don’t make more money because of better copy. We make money when we find an expert (or other supplier) who sells his/her offer to us wholesale for far less than market value. Example: I had an SEO coach who was selling amazing value for $100 a pop. I said, “if I can sell it for $1,000, can I keep half?" What do you think he said? YESSS!!! I did not try and convince him I was an amazing copywriter or had some AI that wrote copy that made people want to sell for ABOVE market value. Does that make sense? We MUST buy low! So low it’s a smoking deal to the end buyer. If I buy gold for $1000 an ounce…would you buy from me $4000 an ounce? When spot price is $5000? Yes! Would I need fancy copy? No! We are NOT trying to rely on our SALES or copy skills. If I come across a widget that costs $2000 and the market value is $2,000 then I need to be great at sales or copy. I don’t want to rely on that. I NEED to find a widget I can get for $200 when the market value is $2000. I won’t need an AI or pro copywriter to sell it for me. Those buy for cheap and sell high are plentiful with an investor mindset. But for the love of Ronin! We are the choosers! We should be asking our partners why their widget is worth the amount their asking if WE think it’s over priced. Not them grilling us about where we learned copywriting. This is a fun and simple game when we offer something of tremendous value for way less than its market value or we offer great terms. Or even “bids start at $1!!” 😆 Does this make sense?? What questions do you have? Rooting for ya, Travis

@Graeme Willis example: There are several land investing experts on YouTube, most sell their programs from $2k to $20k… But then I came across one guy with a super unique approach where he just sends out deeds and gets them signed for back taxes. He was charging $500 at the time….for 6 weeks live. His stuff was unique AND undervalued compared to the rest of the market. Does that make sense? I’m not saying you couldn’t successfully sell the other offers, most don’t understand their own offers. They sell deliverables instead of the offer. If you can “fix” up an offer and make it more valuable that is fun and profitable too. What I’m trying to get across is we want unique and valuable offers. Cramming a url into AI won’t give angles, offers and value adds based on what people want even when they don’t know they want it. Like Ford said… If I gave them what they said they wanted I’d given them faster horses. Most RE education creators don’t even realize that one of the big things their customers want is to invest with their kids and spouses. Thats huge. It’s a big value add when we offer logins for their family too. It costs next to nothing to do it too.
Auction Style to Book Sales Appts.
Hey @Travis Sago and other auction heros, would appreciate your insights on this one: I'm looking at a deal right now where they're selling to primairly doctors and have an ascension model that starts at $997 per month and goes up to $47K for licensing. This company has been around for a while and has a sales process where two former clients who are doctors have a one-hour education call with prospects and close from there. Because there are a lot of complexities to the sale including potentially technical medical questions, I'm thinking of running an auction but having the tapping to lead to sales appts. They've got a big email list with plenty of unconverted leads who have never booked a call. Has anyone done an auction this way before or would you still recommend testing the folow-up tapping direct to offer first and then only get them booked for a call if neccessary?

Yes. Auction off the hour or VIP day or even half aa vip day… Then tap all the bidders in for the hour PAID consultation call @Yakov Smart
AI won't be stopping Ronin
A day or so ago I wrote a 4 line post on Facebook about how easy it was to use Claude code. 3 lines of the post were about how quick and simple it was to create a little Chrome Extension (took me like 20 minutes). The point of the post was to inspire people to make their own tools. 1 line of the post was about what the extension did... ...the extension notified me when a keyword was talked about in a FB group (so I could get involved in the conversation)... Guess what the comments were about on my post? Not how great AI was... Not how easily software could be created now... Everyone asked if they could have the extension! ...Even though the whole post was about how easy it was for them to make their own! The point this drove home for me is... Certain people will always want the thing done for them - no matter how easy it would be to create it themselves. So should we be worrying about AI eating our lunch? ...Not anytime soon from my perspective. Keep making deals. PS - creating a simple little tool that solves a problem for your ideal client is great way to get hand raisers and start conversations.
