I like the first one, I think it grabs more attention because of the black-and-white contrast, and makes it easier to read.

"Mastery requires boredom". That's precisely what I've been realizing this past few weeks. By embracing boredom (significantly reducing the amount of external stimuli that release dopamine), I will find everything I'm looking for. For example, when I changed my routine to maximize productivity, I felt crazy amounts of boredom, but every time, I kept pushing through it. I found that I started to get into a state where: - Work became the most fun thing I did - I absorbed crazy amounts of information fast, which means I grew a lot faster - I had way more time to reflect, have the best ideas, and improve my craft in a crazy way ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Cut out everything that doesn't align with my goal, whether it'd be: - People - Activities - Habits Those things are fundamentally distractions from my goals. So a sacrifice is needed. Fortunately, I'm in a place now where I've cut all of that, and the people around me share the same goals and values, my activities are designed to the progression of my goals, and my habits as well. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Have humility. Just because you think you deserve something doesn't mean you actually deserve it, or else you'd have it. Don't let arrogance and ego take the best of you. Be open to improvement, be open to apprenticeship. For example, of course I want to make 10k/month, of course I want to manage my own business and do great things. But there's a path that needs to be crossed before all of that happens. There's work to be done. Have the humility to accept that because your time will come. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Trauma is the best thing that can happen. This is something not everyone will agree with, but I found trauma to be fundamental for my development because trauma builds character.
Free 90-Day "Specific Knowledge" Bootcamp (+ What I've Been Working On)
In this post I want to: 1. Share an opportunity to work with me and the team in a free 90-day "specific knowledge" bootcamp 2. Reveal what I've been working on and why I've been inactive in the community PART 1: WHAT I'VE BEEN WORKING ON After I "retired", I got bored. Humans are built to work. So I knew I needed to find my next project. But in a world of unlimited opportunities, it was hard to orient myself. Until I hear this piece of advice - Go where you are needed You should always go where you can help the most, in the least amount of time. That's where you're needed most. After growing my YouTube to 600,000+ subs and making $1,000,000, it was clear I had two skillsets: 1. Audience growth 2. Audience monetization So I was needed in two places: 1. Helping Consultants grow on YouTube 2. Helping YouTubers monetize One group has monetization, but needs an audience. The other group has an audience, but needs monetization. Unsure which to go with, I picked the first one. The main person I worked with was a Consultant called Rian Doris. He bought Consulting.com from Sam Ovens, and runs FlowResearchCollective.com. I helped him define his YouTube strategy, built a team of A-Players who would execute on the strategy, and led them towards making videos. What happened next? Well, the channel blew up. - 940,000 views on Video #1 (on a channel with 0 subs) - 60,000 subs just 4 months later So that was it. I knew what I was going to focus on for the next 3-5 years. I was going to be the 'audience growth' guy. Until... My YouTuber friend Hamza reached out and asked me how he should monetize his channel. So I sent him a simple Loom outlining everything I'd do if I were him.

We Flew Our Content Specialist Out For A Sleepover ๐Ÿ˜…
Hey, Synthesizers! ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿผ I hope you're all splendid! I know there are a lot of pasty-white keyboard-kids in here (massive compliment by the way ๐Ÿ˜˜)... So don't get too excited when you see the pics. But my wife and I have ALWAYS been huge on bringing people to our home when we do work with them. We feel this to be the best way to solidify relationships and authentically show we are also the people they expect us to be... face pulling weirdos by the looks of these pictures ๐Ÿ˜‚ Anyhoo... It was REALLY exciting to have @Joรฃo Dias over to stay with us for a few days ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿป He got to meet a small portion of our UK clients and celebrate one of many wedding anniversary parties at our home ๐Ÿ’š A lot of people talk a semi-decent good talk - but having people in your home, eating with you, your kids, friends and neighbours exposes you to a different level... A level that most will NEVER go. Why? Because they're full of BS. So, overall, it was nice to introduce @Joรฃo Dias to that depth of personal exposure... And boy did he grow from it ๐Ÿ˜‰ Here's to more meetups (sleepovers) โšก๏ธ

Business Owners! (doing a little bit of research)
Do you feel the need to have any programming done for anything inside your business? If you do, how so? I don't program nor do I intend to, I'm just trying to understand the demand for programmers in the business world.
