Fun Day at the ZOO today
Talk about LEG WORKOUT... 4 seater wagon.. 4 kids strapped in.. the up and down hill landscape at the zoo.. I was sweating bullets with the hour of pushing... lol Came close to 8k steps today...

Day 4 of 90-Day program
Happy Monday! Back to the grind, but with a twist! I smashed out 10k steps and spiced things up by adding 15-20 bodyweight squats every 45 minutes to keep things lively. Breakfast was the usual comforting oatmeal with protein yoghurt and fruits. For lunch, I whipped up a delicious chicken bolognese with lentil pasta and a protein shake. The bolognese was so tasty that I was tempted to go for seconds right away, but I held back a bit. In the end, my husband happily devoured the second serving. It was simply scrumptious! šŸ˜… I’m thrilled that he enjoys every meal I make. I absolutely love asparagus and dragonfruits! However, this dragonfruit was the most expensive I’ve ever paid for. (My bad for not asking the price before paying too, I just paid for it and realised after. Hahaha…)🤪🤪 Considering the price I paid in Europe, I could easily buy a carton in Singapore. My husband nearly had a heart attack when I told him the price! 🤣🤣

My name is Jesenia. I am from Miami, Florida, but raised in DFW, Texas. I am 32 years old. Married 4 kids: 6 months to 5 yr old. GOAL: Looking at 125 lbs, tone body, but no six packs. I want to break the cycle of starting and stopping in my fitness journey.. not sure if it's genetic laziness or mindset of procrastination as an adult. I am 5'2 and 150 lbs now. I want to feel good in my body and stay physically attracted for my MAN... keep this change and my new BBB lifestyle for myself and my family. Be a good steward of this body God has given me. I WANT TO "stop breaking promises to myself.. and take ownership — even when life isn’t perfect" as Darren said in the INTRO COURSE. STOP FEELING SORRY FOR MYSELF AND JUST DO THE WORK.. I NEED TO GO TO LEVEL 3... lol the new merch --->NO ONE CARES... Yes yes I am rambling. If I was in death row, my last meal?! First what a question, Darren?!?! Lol Any hot soup that is delicious like chicken soup, beef soup with ton of veggies.. good hearty salad with banana peppers!!! Tacos with homemade tortillas... with a nice salsa on the side... I'm latina so 🤪 don't come for me. I am open to try new food in any culture!! Open to suggests to try in the DFW.

Thrive Thursday: Check On Your Strong Friends
Today I want to share something about mental health and friendship. Someone very close to me wears many hats in life. A mom, wife, daughter, auntie, and so much more. From the outside she looks strong, put together, and like everything is under control. But sometimes… life hits hard. Behind the smile there can be a lot of weight someone is carrying. Responsibilities, expectations, emotions — things that slowly build up inside. When she does need to release those emotions, she sometimes comes to a couple of us close friends to vent, cry it out, and just be heard. No fixing. No judging. Just listening and support. Another way she takes care of herself is something I truly respect. Every year she does a self-care spa day. It’s her time to disconnect, reflect, cry if she needs to, and give herself personal space. Some years I’ve joined her to celebrate her birthday. Other years she prefers to go alone, and that’s okay too. Because sometimes healing requires quiet space with yourself. It reminded me that people who appear the strongest are often carrying the most quietly. Sometimes the best thing we can do for someone is simply: • Be present • Listen without judgment • Respect their need for space • Remind them they’re not alone Life can punch you in the stomach sometimes. And in those moments, having someone in your corner matters more than we realize. Today’s reminder: Check in on your friends. Be the safe place. You never know what someone might be going through behind the scenes. ā¤ļø

Wow,,, this hits right on the nail for me.. feel like your friend sometimes.. Good to have friends like that to vent to and not judge and just listen and be there for them.. encourage you and lift you up..
