Welcome New Members!
As we transition into a new season, we’re happy to welcome those who are just joining the Rooted Alchemy community🌱🌻 Whether you’re completely new or continuing your path, this is a space to move at your own pace, grow steadily, and reconnect with your body in a supportive environment. Feel free to say hello! ✨ For our existing members — let’s welcome spring together! Here are a few fun questions to spark connection: - What does “renewal” in your practice look like this season? I’ll start first... this season, I’d like to approach renewal a little differently than I have before (usually change/evolve something). Instead of pushing forward or adding more, I want to return to a beginner’s mind... to see the practice with fresh eyes, as if I’m learning it for the first time again😌 @Elaine DeMasi @Sharon Palinsky @Eva Michaela @Elizabeth Wangmo @Kristan Lopes @T Laird @Lewis Klason @Nancy Reich @Wes MacDurmon @Axel Müller @Ximena Dussan-Aya Pearson @Verena Ellerkamp @Valeria Agustoni @Linda Tapscott @Robert McDunn @Orshi Hunyady @Jee Dax @Paul Custer @David Shipley @Agnieszka Kałużyńska @Adele Dupuis-Miller @Danial Fitzgerald @Terry Ann Sturm @Alan Hubble @Ana Maria Jelescu @Lori Morgan

7 Mistakes in Tai Chi
This is a great video explaining how we look at the intention of our practices by considering these common "mistakes" that we all run into. One of the main reasons I started practicing qi gong more regularly was to manage my energy levels, ability to stay focused, and all the other ups and downs that come with perimenopause. And because I had been practicing yoga for such a long time, I had to come at it with a "you don't know what you don't know" mindset, meaning less expectations of myself and what I think I know, and allowing for a new process to take hold. And that was both challenging, but exciting once I started making new connections. Check out this video! Can you relate?

🌿 7-Day Challenge Accountability Thread
Hey everyone, whether you’re starting fresh because you just arrived or you’re restarting like me to re-establish your practice, this is our spot. The 7-day challenge always feels more grounding when we move together, so this post will stay pinned for our daily check-ins. Let’s show up, keep it simple, and take it one day at a time. ✅ How to Check In Each Day After you finish your practice, follow these three steps: 1. State which day of the challenge you’re on. Example: Day 1, Day 3, Day 7, etc. 2. How you felt before and after. One short sentence for each. 3. Screenshot or photo: A quick picture of your screen, TV, or you practicing. Feel free to leave encouragement for others. A little support goes a long way. ✨ Sample Check-In 1. Day: 1 2. Before: Feeling tight 3. After: Calm and relaxed 4. (Photo attached)

Well, I did YouTube tonight and I did the tai chi sticks and then I did the stance video. It was very excited to see the stance video. It helped a lot horse stance not overly tight tonight. Stressful day, but I feel energized and much more relaxed now.
