On December 11th, Jon Kabat-Zinn will speak at the University of Geneva to close the international summit United and Present, held December 9–11 under the auspices of the United Nations.
After two days at the Palais des Nations exploring the links between well-being, diplomacy, and human rights, this public conference will focus on: 🧭 “Mindfulness in a Changing World” 👉 The event is sold out, but free livestream access will be available HERE Note: The link leads to a French UNIGE page, but the event will be in English. This event is coordinated by the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, with Geneva University Hospitals and the University of Geneva – Faculty of Medicine, and supported by several partners including Nouveau Monde. 📺 I’ll be watching online! About MBSR:Jon Kabat-Zinn, founder of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), has spent over 40 years bringing evidence-based mindfulness into healthcare. His work has transformed how professionals understand stress, suffering, and emotional regulation. Today, hospitals, universities, schools, and organizations worldwide use mindfulness to support resilience and well-being. At this conference, he’ll reflect on what it means to stay present amid complexity and how mindfulness can help manage emotional and professional overload. UNIGE and HUG are currently studying the benefits of mindfulness for students, caregivers, and patients. Moderation: Guido Bondolfi, Emeritus Professor, University of Geneva Faculty of Medicine Mara Arizaga, Head OHCHR Well-being Unit, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights

Client Value Challenge: Kicking off with the 1st dimension: BEING
Hello community! today is the day we're kicking off the 5-dimension reverse-engineering challenge to help us all get better at communicating the tangible value and worth of the IDGs. One question we always hear is ‘’How can I convince my clients to work with the IDGs?’ But the real question to ask is ‘How do I create an offering that translates the IDGs into concrete outcomes my clients care about? Over the next few week's we’ll explore together how to embody the IDGs in a way that translates into clear, tangible outcomes your clients recognize and are willing to pay for. Together we learn how to identify and articulate your clients’ external (what they say they need), internal (what they feel), and philosophical (what they believe) challenges and reverse Engineer IDG skills into Employee’s Needs, Organizational Pain Points and relative SDG Goals. Please watch the attached video and then pick one of the BEING skills and share your reverse-engineered thoughts in this Google Doc: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1zLUjTaSr9l8l1CI_3s7EF1KaHi3OeSLBVlL6JRpbYts/edit?usp=sharing As soon as we have some insights, we'll discuss further in one of the next Hangouts. We look forward to co-create this IDG language with you Sarah & Nadene P.S. please post questions, reflections, things that are not clear in the comments

Summit Integration Community call
Thank you to EVERYONE who took the time to join today. It was heartwarming to be in conversation together. We discussed the 2 new competences of Forgiveness and Resilience, and the Framework being referred to as a Guide. There were SO many valuable insights shared around three topics: What we loved, What we learned and What we want to bring into action. For members who were unable to join, please share your reflections too, we'd love to hear from you!

Member from the US becoming visible
Good morning from Gig Harbor, WA, US. I have been a member here since last year via Sarah S., but the calls have all been out of reach time-wise. Hoping something will pop soon that is within reach from the Pacific timezone. In the meantime, I'm so glad you're here and I am joining the lovely humans who are committed to integrating IDGs into our work, lives, and world. Thank you.
